Reviews for Olde Naples Seaport
4 night stay , 2015-01-30
Captain: , hampstead.n.c. (219)

Our experience at Old Naples Seaport was somewhat different than those previously noted.
First the good points - The price was reasonable, close to restaurants and shops on 5th Ave, free laundromat, easy trash and pump out facility, fairly new and clean facility.
The differences - The marina's new management is thru another marina and therefore there is no on site presence. The approach to the slip was not straightforward and the only reason that we did not go aground was because we only draw 3 1/2 ft and we came in on a flood tide. Half of the slips are for brokered boats and most of the others are for absentee owners. We stayed there 4 nights and saw hardly anyone.
There are no more special rates with the new owners - rates are $2/day/ft and $10/day electric. As I stated, this was not a disappointing stay, just different than had previously stated.

Stayed over Christmas this year. very nice place, clean and well kept, free ice, great wifi. The sad news is Donn and Judy have lost the contract to manage the place. They were wonderful hosts. We were told the Naples Boat Club was taking over Jan 1st

what happened ?, 2014-12-09
Captain: , staten island (511)

We just purchased a new boat that was already in Naples, when we took possession it was in naples sail and yacht club so we had to move it .Decided that id keep her in naples for a month and go use it and get the feel of her before taking her to keys and east coast then bahamas, great , got there saw dockmastr he wasnt sure what was goin on ,no problem we all have those days ,as our conversation went on we where asked 4 times for a 4 diget code that would be programed in to the dock gate we then went off to town , Naples is lovely anything u could as for
When we returned with our hands full of groceries ,having left our car at the marina lot,a block away, wait did imention that our hands are full because all the dock carts are locked away ,no we wherent provided a combination, and they are always locked, anyway hands full, block long walk, did i mention the downpour? Well u guessed it gates not answering our code ,naturally noones around its pouring so after 15 mins calling emergency #s ,our broker ,yacht maintence guy we finnally get a call back from judy ,"oh don probably forgot". watever we finally got in ... time to go take a shower , damn they never gave us the code for this either ,the question i have to ask is why did we spend 20 mins goin over a good code for us if it was never to be used? LOL
People in the marina where great ,all very helpful and friendly ,and evidently this is the norm because everyone we spoke to had same stories,
We also where proudly told how the wifi is on dock and how it was a great idea ,well it worked if you sat very still outside on deck... LOL,dock neighbors and town made this a great time ,old naples seaport ,we will laugh for years to come ,and never divulge our secret code

Nice stop in Naples, 2014-06-07
Captain: , Marion Ma (591)

A nice dock in Naples. Joe was a great help. Reasonable price. Only issue was a slip with a pier a bit short. Would request a longer pier for our 55' boat next time.

Great Visit To Olde Naples Seaport, 2014-05-21
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (10)

We just spent 3 days in a new lovely new marina in Naples. The staff is great. Everything was done at the boat, There was no need to find an office, Donn and Joe stopped by everyday to see if we needed anything. Free Ice and laundry. It is close to 5th ave. We highly recommend it!

Ron and Judy were great hosts. Nice new floating docks, nice clean bathrooms and showers, great location close to Tin City and a short walk to 5th Avenue. Would definitely go there again.

6 stars if they gave them!!, 2014-03-16
Captain: , Cleveland Oh (10)

We have just departed the Olde Seaport marina to continue our trip up the west coast. We intended to spend 2 weeks there and ended up spending over a month. The facilities, service of everyone associated with the operation from the guy who picks up the garbage evey morning was cheerful and accommodating. The facilities are top notch. The pumpout is the best I have ever used and my wife was very impressed with the washer and dryer. High end equipment. Gerry and June Cockerill/Bliss II 56' Hatteras

Enjoyable stay, 2014-02-18

Marina new. Donn, Judy and Frank very friendly and helpful. 5th Street Naples is over rated and over priced. Beware; drivers do not give way to pedestrians. We're Key West spoiled!!

Nice Updated Marina, 2014-02-03

Donn and Judy were great, the facilities are brand new, floating docks, slips with pump out, water, electric, trash bins, etc. Showers and restrooms also new. Laundry and ice included. Easy in and out.

Captain: , Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club, Virginia Beach, Virginia (366)

Docks are all new concrete floaters as of 12/15/2013. Good power & water pressure, cable being installed 1/14/2013. Excellent location, easy walking to 5th Ave, 7 blocks to 3rd St. Very nice bathrooms, although best for 1 person at a time. Terrific new Bosch washers/dryers & ice maker both of which are free.

Private Dockominium, 2011-02-14
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (624)

We layed over here for ten days 2/3 - 2/13/11 while we left town. Smaller private facility mainly for larger vessels. We dealt with Mickey and we're able to negotiate a better deal than originally quoted. All slips are privately owned and quite a few are vacant.

We paid about $575 for our stay in a 70' slip including electric. Good security and very well protected. Bath and laundry facilties are nice. On the downside, the cable TV doesn't work and neither does the pumpout.

Our slipmates where Rex & Sharon on a 70' Viking who were very friendly and helpful. Rex is the dock association president.

Naples itself is a very nice, upscale little city and we enjoyed walking and biking around town.
