Reviews for Ocean Club Marina at Port Canaveral
One of the best Marinas, 2016-11-15
Captain: , Kenai (30)

We stayed at Ocean Club this summer from the end of May to the end of October. This is an excellent marina for anyones needs. We planned to do many upgrades during our stay at the marina. The Dockmaster Clayton and his staff Chris & Matt were always available to assist us with anything we needed. The marina is also located next to Scorpions Marine service yard where we hauled out and painted and replaced our generator.
Everything at Ocean is new and kept very clean. The Lounge is huge and the wifi is the best we have ever had in a marina. And they even have dockside PUMPOUT!

Awesome Marina and Staff!, 2016-08-09
Captain: , Bradenton, FL (20)

This place is terrific! We called them late in the day as we made our way in the inlet with engine trouble. They were able to accomodate us and were extremely helpful at every step. Couldn't ask for better staff. Floating docks; water, electric and free pumpout at every slip; clean restrooms and laundry area. If we make it back through Canaveral again, this is the place we will stay. Great job, Clayton (Harbor Master).

Top Notch Marina, 2016-05-17
Captain: , Sunset Harbour, Miami Beach,FL (83)

Cannot say enough good things about this place. From the first call for a reservation, the great staff and fabulous internet. We stayed here for 4 nights, there is a rental car location within easy walking distance, and a number of good eats close by. With just a 40 +/- drive to Orlando what more could you ask for?

Winter 2016 Ocean Club Marina, 2016-05-13
Captain: , Port Jefferson, NY (10)

Actually 5 stars is not enough to rate this marina and the personnel who run the show. There is plenty of water for boats like mine that draw 7 ft. Marina is accessible to the Cape Canaveral canal reastruants. Showers are excellent, Tiki bar with barbecue, pool that is well maintained, club house (with pool table, 65" flat screen, better furniture than my house) and a staff that maintains the marina in pristine order). Stayed here from Nov 9 2015 to Apr 2016.
Pump out is every Wed at your slip. Valtec deisel. Security is excellent. WiFi Great. Cable is you want it. No bird poop on the docks.
Oh, and you get to see a launch now and then with an excellent view.
Can't say enough about the staff, Clayton, Dustin and Blake. The rates are more than reasonable. This is after all a world class Marina.

Management Response, 2016-05-09
Captain: , Port Canaveral (19)

Management Response

Dear Capt. Drew,

Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns. We value your opinion, and regret that you are not satisfied with your experience at Ocean Club. The $6 fee you were charged was for utilities, not just electric. Utilities include other amenities such as water, trash, wifi, etc. Also, codes are distributed in our %u201Cwelcome package%u201D given to all transients.

While we do sell ice from our Harbor Master%u2019s Office, we do not have a Ship%u2019s Store and wonder if you may have ventured over to the next door business? Again, we thank you for your comments and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We hope you will give us another chance in the future.%u201D

Not Impressed, 2016-05-05
Captain: , Fort Monroe, VA (80)

Most cruisers are a frugal bunch, so when asked to pay for something you're not going to use, like power, it doesn't sit well. It's not the cost as much as it is the principle. So I don't pay the $6 a night for power, but then the cold shoulder starts. I don't get bathroom codes, no wifi access codes and water. $2.50 a foot per night is steep considering. Ship store is also poorly stocked. So knowing what I know now, I'd be hanging my hat at Cape Marina; docks may be old but they also have a taste of old fashioned FL customer service without all the unnecessary flash.

First Class Marina, 2016-04-27
Captain: , Castine, Maine (2997)

The marina is a first class facility. Beautiful docks, the nicest captain's lounge I have ever seen, covered decks with comfy seating, pool, tiki bar. The bathrooms and laundry are top notch. Everything is new, modern, and well maintained. The staff ia friendly and helpful. Access from offshore is simple making this a great stop coming in from the Bahamas - which is what we did. And of course it is a great place to watch a shuttle launch. Access to the Kennedy Space Center is easy with a rental car and is a nice way to spend a day. I would not hesitate to recommend this marina.

Stopped one night and stayed 6 months!, 2016-04-11
Captain: , Niceville Florida (280)

Absolutely the best of everything. The staff (Clayton, Dustin and Blakey) are wonderful and are always helpful and attentive. Can't imagine a better bunch! They are what sets this marina apart!
The docks are floating concrete and are very wide. Every morning early the staff get rid of any evidence of nightly visits by shore birds. These are the best docks of any marina I have seen.
The bathrooms are immaculate, with adequate space that you won't be waiting for that hot shower.
For travelers with dogs, this is great because of many places to walk your pets. There is a long sidewalk, or walk Fido over to Canaveral Lock for a good day of exercise.
There are plenty of restaurants around and a favorite was the seafood market which gets fish straight off the boats.
I will definitely be back. Hated to leave.

Great Marina, 2016-04-07
Captain: , Woodstock, Georgia (359)

We stayed here for 3 nights on March 28, 2016. The marina staff are friendly and helpful. We came in after the office was closed, but found a staff member onsite to give us our slip number. There is nothing within walking distance except the car rental agencies. They have an office for Enterprise, Hertz and Avis about a half mile away. Since we needed a car to get to the Kennedy Space Center, it was easy to walk down and get the car. The rental agencies even allow you to drop the car off after hours. If you are interested in going to the Space Center, I would recommend this marina.

super good marina, 2016-03-31
Captain: , Myrtle Beach, SC (50)

Clayton, Dustin and Blake all delivered outstanding, accommodating service of the highest order. We have traveled on the ICW since October 2014 and this marina deserves our highest rating. Wifi is a prime consideration for us and from NC to Key West this was by far our best connection, consistently delivering +20 Mbps and NO drop outs for an entire month! They provide top notch Bellingham concrete floating docks. The free cable tv is fair but the air digital tv is very good. We do not utilize them, but the bath house and club house were both immaculate. The cruise ships provide good viewing entertainment and Disney ships play "wish upon a star" on their air horns when departing. The only detraction was the occasional bird poop that was sometimes delivered to the canvas during the night. However the staff kept the dock deck spotless from these occasional incursions. The marina is about 6.7 miles East from ICW mile marker 893.6 on the Canaveral barge canal. The nice canal lock was still under renovation during our visit but the lockmaster (channel 13) was super helpful and transit was simple with a forward and aft line tie. During construction the lock opens 6-7am and 5-9:30pm weekdays and on regular schedule for week-ends. Construction should end in June 2016 but be sure to check with Active Captain for the current schedules. The lock phone is 321-783-5421.

excellent stop especially returning from ocean run, 2016-01-15
Captain: , Cobbs Creek, VA (20)

Beautiful docks, very helpful staff. Pool and clubhouse with big screen tv, NFL Sunday ticket, pool table and Bar. Even got us a diver for a quick check of the bow thruster on a sunday morning.

What a great facility and staff, 2015-12-18
Captain: , Palm Coast, Florida (311)

We stayed on Dec 12 and 13 and had a wonderful time. We pulled up to the slip to find two friendly dockhands to help guide us into the slip and get squared away. It only got better from there. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We arrived for their annual Christmas gatherering, so we were treated like marina residents joining in the great food and fun. The boaters lounge, and all of the gathering areas were inviting and we enjoyed meeting fellow boaters. We didn't have time to explore, but the Marina indicated there are rental cars availalble for local rental that will drop off at the marina for about $30 day. The restrooms and showers were immaculate as were the rest of the facilities. Watching the cruise ships arrive and depart pretty cool as well. We have passed up this marina many times because it is off the ICW, but we were surprised the crossing from the Indian River to the Banana River wasn't as long as we thought and we found the lock to be easy and fast to transit. It was defintinely worthwhile stopover.

Top-Notch Marina, 2015-12-05
Captain: , Warrenton, VA (35)

We had problems with both our stern thruster and an engine while docking, the staff practically hauled us in, they were more than very helpful. They also recommended a really good restaurant. Can't say enough nice things. Great people, great place!

Excellent overnight stop for us, 2015-06-22
Captain: , Cape Coral, FL (231)

We stayed just one night on 6/21/15 on our way to JAX and this was an excellent choice. The staff is excellent and Dustin took good care of us. The marina and floating docks are well maintained. Wi-fi is a bit odd and I needed remedial training to connect. The staff kindly squared me away. We'd stay here again.

Ocean Club Marina, 2015-06-21
Captain: , Halifax, NS (10)

I spent almost 3 weeks alongside at the marina and it was a very positive experience. The clubhouse is a relatively new building with clean and modern facilities. Staff members were always friendly, courteous and helpful. The port area is well looked after with lots of well groomed green spaces. A number of restaurants are nearby. Although it is a 20 minute walk to the bus stop, public transportation provides convenient access to stores and malls in the area. Highly recommended.

SUPER staff, great place to be, 2015-06-08
Captain: , Traverse City, MI (10)

We have to commend and thank Clayton for answering the phone as he was leaving the building last week at the end of the day. We were being towed into port and he gave us slip 66C which couldn't have been in a more perfect easy-to-enter-under-tow location. The following morning, he recommended the right person for our electrical problem. We spent four nights here, got our repairs done quickly, and -- except for needing repairs -- we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The showers, restrooms, office, and clubhouse upstairs are great and very clean. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

Excelent staff, 2015-06-06
Captain: , Fort Lauderdale (175)

We stayed here for one month, and I never seen staff like this, we had a super hi class service. docks are always clean, any kind of help the staff always there. the people around very friendly. I would like to come back to this Marina.
.

Ocean Club Marina, 2015-05-30
Captain: , London (10)

Port Canaveral was our port of arrival from the Bahamas. Clayton the marina manager could not have been more helpful with everything during our stay. The marina has a lovely pool and club house and easy floating docks. when I compared the docks to the solid ones at the marina next door I was very glad we chose Ocean Club. much easier to get on and off the boat. all the staff were super friendly and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble. All in all a really pleasant experience!

Great Memorial Weekend, 2015-05-28
Captain: , Melbourne, FL (232)

05-23-15 We stayed over Memorial weekend and everything was great. They had a great staff looking to help in any way. The floating docks made everything easy and comfortable for the night. We used the gas grill on Saturday night with others to cook out dinner around the pool. Bathrooms were clean with two shower stalls in the men%u2019s room. Showers were a little busy with the extra holiday attendance. This is a top-notch marina!

The Dog's Opinion, 2015-05-18
Captain: , Rock Hall, MD (156)

Great marina, high marks for facilities, services, and friendly staff.
From Ryder, our dog's perspective, Ocean Club is a good choice and gets 4 bone rating. Dogs are welcome, and must be leashed. The Harbor Master keeps a dog cookie jar on his desk and a mild-mannered marina cat lingers nearby. There's ample grass for walking dogs and chasing balls in front of the marina, with a high fence between the grass and a highway. The harbor is very commercial, bulkheaded, or rip-rapped, so there's no obvious place to swim.

Great Stay Here, 2015-04-21
Captain: , Sarnia (371)

This was our entry port back into the U.S. Marina staff were great, assisted whenever we needed them and suggestions for places to eat. Facilities are very well maintained including the pool and lounge on upper deck. Customs is a bit of a hike but doable and several good restaurants nearby. Rented a car for a day to reach West Marine and grocery. Definitely the place to stay.

What a marina should be., 2015-04-12
Captain: , Crisfield, MD (70)

We were liveaboards here for two months; wish it could be two years! Fantastic facilities, great floating docks, squeaky clean showers, laundry, clubhouse, pool, etc. The staff is knowledgble and vey friendly. They really cared about our wants and needs. Within a one mile radius you can find repairs for hull, engines and electronics. Cocoa Beach is just a couple of miles down the road with all kinds of restautants, shopping and nightlife. We will definitely be back! The only negative is that the wi-fi really sucks.

Great marina!, 2015-03-30
Captain: , Baton Rouge, LA (62)

We were guests on board a sailboat and enjoyed Ocean Club very much. The facilities were very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. There are several restaurants a nice walk away. We also visited the Kennedy Space Center ( you must take a taxi or have a car) and found the tour excellent. Very enjoyable stay!

5-star Accomodations, 2015-02-11
Captain: , Kemah (10)

Beautiful marina, friendly staff. Showers & restrooms stellar clean with handicap accessibility. If you need help with gear, contact dock hands with golf cart on Channel 14, Ocean Club.

Floating docks are great, easy enter/exit. Will return soon!

A Nice Marina with a WiFi problem, 2015-01-22
Captain: , Traverse City, Mi (281)

We spent a three days here. I had to knock them a star because of the lousy WiFi connection (pretty non existent where we were - had to schelp up to the marina office to connect). The staff is FANTASTIC and very helpful. A great place to be for a launch from Cape Canaveral.

Great Marina, even greater staff!, 2015-01-17
Captain: , Baltimore Harbor (20)

Our first visit to Ocean Club and we could not be more impressed. We came arrived in very gusty conditions and the docking assistance was excellent. Blake really hustled to take our lines and get us tied down safely. His attentiveness and effort made docking in less than ideal conditions easy. Can't say enough about how much we appreciate knowledgeable docking assistance. Once tied down, Blake welcomed us, took care of shore power hookup and provided information about the marina and nearby attractions all with a smile and enthusiastic attitude.

Checking in we met Clayton the Harbor Master, also very welcoming and helpful. The facility is well run and immaculately maintained. The concrete floating piers are great and cable and good wifi make the stay very enjoyable. The marina office is very nice and the bathrooms are beautiful and very clean.

This marina is one we will visit again.

First Rate Facility and Staff, 2015-01-10
Captain: , Portland, Maine (30)

We arrive annually for a three month stay starting in October. Beginning with the all weather inlet this is the best place for our boat. The floating docks are the best in the port, the power is rock steady at 240v and the place is CLEAN. Clayton the dock master runs a very tight ship and the whole staff is friendly and helpful. Clayton monitors the numerous Port vendors and always has unbiased recommendations and suggestions. Getting things done here at a fair price has no limit. Rent your car from Pay Less down the road and all your favorite Chandleries are within an easy drive. Bars and eateries are within walking distance.

Came for a month; stayed for six, 2014-12-02
Captain: , Wilmington (10)

Absolutely the best marina we have ever stayed in. It starts with A1 physical facilities - floating docks, lots of carts, slip-side pump out, excellent water pressure and quality, showers and toilets, etc, etc. The best part, though, is the manager, Clayton Humphry. He truly runs a tight ship. The docks and facilities are scrubbed and washed frequently and perfectly maintained. His staff is invariably helpful and friendly. Any discrepancies are rectified immediately. Clayton also monitors the performance of all the boat-related businesses in the area. When he makes a recommendation, you know you will get the best value.

Great Transient Facility, 2014-11-21
Captain: , Kemah, TX (612)

Stayed several days over Father's Day Weekend in June. We found the marina to be first class. Excellent service. Water and slip located pumpout service included. 50amp power was up to par. Staff was very friendly however, when the place closes for the evening, they are closed!! Bikes required to local restaurants. Great place to watch the Shuttle or rocket launches

Update: as of Nov 1, 2012, fees for overnight are $125.00 for a 42 foot boat. Service is still worth it. Dockside holding tank service. Shuttle not there anymore, but occasional rocket launches are entertaining.

Sep-Nov 2014 - We bought a trawler here in September while docked here overnight. She is still on the hard next door at Scorpion while repairs are being completed. Clayton and his staff are exceptionally professional, reflect all of the qualities we expect from this type of establishment. The monthly rates at $14.50/foot are a bit steep for our wallets, but we will return again and again as transients. First Class

Boat store and service near by.

wonderful!, 2014-10-25
Captain: , Gulf Shores AL (130)

Excellent well maintained docks, staff are friendly and helpful. Boaters lounge is beyond any we have seen. Lots of restaurants but not walking distance. Boat repair next door.

Double D's, 2014-08-19
Captain: , Charleston SC (217)

Pulled into the fuel dock at 4am, stayed the next day there. Staff was very helpful and even took a little fish off our hands. Plenty of bars to go out if thats your fancy but it was quite on the docks.

Ocean Club First Class, 2014-08-09
Captain: , Alexandria,VA (60)

As we booked our stay here in early July 2014 (our 2nd stay in a year) we had to adjust plans on short notice due to a last minute "family situation". The dock master, Clayton, was very accomodating and made sure we were well taken care of. Marina staff went out of their way to help out, very courteous and friendly! We will definitely be back.

great stop, 2014-07-26
Captain: , Boca Raton, FL (995)

First time here and will be back. Docks are superior as are the facilities. We got in late and the dock hand made sure we were taken care of with exception of fuel but because of a storm and lightening I would not have fueled up anyway. Dockmaster starts his day at 6:30am. We fueled up and were gone.

The service is what makes the difference!, 2014-06-23
Captain: , London (10)

Not just professional and courtious, but knowledgeable and able to give helpful, considered advice about cruising the whole area. Clayton, the harbour master, should be cloned and then we could have one and installed in every marina!!

Beautiful Marina!, 2014-05-27
Captain: , Port Canaveral (10)

We stayed two days at Ocean Club Marina with our sailing club over the Memorial Day weekend. The staff is courteous and helpful. The marina is clean and impecably maintained. Floating slips and wide fairways made for easy docking. There is a nice pool area and a Tiki bar/patio area with a BBQ, water and power for guest use. The bathrooms and upstairs club room feel more like a resort than a marina. We loved it there and will definately be back.

Excellent facility, 2014-05-22
Captain: , St Petersburg, Fl (202)

We stayed here on May 22,2014 for an overnight stop. This was the second time we stayed here and both times the service was exceptional. The Dockmaster, Clayton Humphrey, provided professional and friendly service. The facility is kept in top condition and it is a convenient location with direct access to the inlet. I highly recommend this marina. There are excellent restaurants only a short cab ride away.

Great Marina, 2014-04-28
Captain: , Edmonton Alberta (10)

This is a great place to stay. Friendly helpful staff, Clayton and his staff treated us great. Well run, clean and great access to the Atlantic or ICW. I have stayed here twice and got the same service each time. Highly recommended.

excellent marina, phenomenal staff, perfect location and facilities, 2014-04-25
Captain: , Fort Lauderdale, FL (32)

en route to St Simons on the outside bringing our new boat home, our transmission went out and we had to be towed "somewhere". a quick scan of Active Captain reviews told us that Ocean Club would put us in the safest facility to make our repairs. Clayton Humphrey, the Harbor Master, immediately connected us with a terrific mechanic, who then put us in touch with Marine Pro, who masterfully rebuilt our transmission. while at Ocean Club we couldn't get over the facilities - the docks, the heads, organization and cleanliness, the proximity to all services and supplies we needed. Despite our boat's challenges the experience of staying at Ocean Club couldn't have been better. we were treated like long time customers, which made all the difference. we give Clayton, his staff and the ownership of Ocean Club the highest marks possible!

Outstanding Marina, 2014-04-24
Captain: , Bar Harbor (90)

This is one of the premier marinas on Florida's east coast. It has everything a sailor would need. The staff is exceptionally helpful

Best Yet Sailing South, 2014-03-19
Captain: , Rochester, NY (493)

We've been sailing south from Rochester, NY for the past couple years, staying for a while here and there along the way.

We've been at Ocean Club at Port Canaveral for nearly a year now, and I've got to say, it's the best yet. River Dunes, near Oriental, NC, is the only marina that comes close for facilities.

The Port Canaveral inlet is wide and deep - great access to the deep blue-water. Just watch out for the cruise ships and, for cryin' out loud, don't pull into the East Basin military inlet on your starboard side as you come in from the Atlantic.

The water in the Ocean Club Marina is generally pretty clean - a welcome change on our triip so far. I suspect it's so clean because of the deep inlet being flushed out regularly by the 7 - 8 foot tides.

Love the spacious floating cement docks.

In season, Sheepshead fish clean your hull day and night. Sounds like Rice Crispies all night long. Mullets and Jack go nuts from time to time: the Mullets sound like a heavy rain up close when they swarm and the Jacks sound like a hailstorm.

The facilities at Ocean Club at Port Canaveral are all first class - very modern and very clean..

The air-conditioned Club House is pretty classy - with comfy furniture, a big-screen TV, a bar (un-manned - for parties, I guess) and a very fine pool table. It's on the second deck, so you get a great bird's-eye view of the harbor - and a great 360 degree view of incoming weather!

Note: the Club House is only open to *non-members* (i.e. "Transients" until 1700.

The pool is mighty refreshing on those hot Florida summer days.
The Tiki bar (also un-manned) near the pool lends a nice bit of atmosphere. There's a big ol' gas grill there for general use.

Dockmaster Clayton and his super-helpful dockhands, Camron and Bob are professional, helpful, roaring down to the fuel dock in their golf carts - and .out to our dock, for instance, when we have a load of stuff to haul back to parking lot.

Speaking of flying home, Ocean Club Marina is very close to Orlando Airport and our personal favorite, the Amtrak Auto-Train.

Also Near By:

There's a good-sized boat yard - Scorpion - right next to the marina. We've seen some pretty big boats hauled out there.

We had a major paint-job done there - very professional.

There's a Coast Guard station with an Exchange on the other side of the inle for folks with PX/BX privleges.

Nor far from the gate, about a mile from the docks, there's a beautiful *Manatee Park*with a fitness path.

There's a nice little Jetty Maritime Park ($6) at the entrance of the inlet, with what appear to be very family-friendly camping facilities.

South of the Marine Park is the famous Cocoa Beach - you'lll need a car or a bike to get there, but if you DO have transportation, head south another couple miles to the Lorii Wilson Park - free parking and a great beach!

Now the other shoe:

* A loaner car - common at many marinas - would greatly help transients, as restaurants, groceries and such are all just a bit too far away.

* West Marine is a good distance away - too far for even a cab, but the local ACE Hardware has a pretty fair selection of marine parts and can get stuff in pretty quickly.

* Laundry: $2.00 wash and $2.00 dry seems a little priicey.

And our personal candidate for *Most Frustrating* at this otherwise great marina:

* WiFi is pretty bad for some reason - very weak and inclined to bump you off every so often. Very frustrating.

Best marina on east FL coast, 2013-07-06
Captain: , Orlando, FL (90)

Just departed Ocean Club after spending a month with them Great facilities and a super staff. Clayton and camron are there to assist with everything a boater needs. I have stayed with them 5 times through the years and is the only marina I will stay at in Port Canaveral. Easy walking distance to fun places to eat or have happy hour.

If you want floating docks, pumpouts on request at dock, fuel and a pool, this is a cool spot. Call in ahead and you'll have deck hands waiting for you. Love it.

We stayed at Ocean CLub for 3 months and in our expeience on coming south on the ICW, this was by far the best marina we have stayed at. Great floating docks, pumpouts at your slip, great staff, Clayton, Donetta, Cam and Greg are outstanding in providing everything for your needs. Clean washrooms, laundry and docks washed daily. We will be back

We recently stopped here for a few days after a Bahamas trip. Dockmaster Clayton was extremely professional and helpful; he made us feel instantly welcome. Both staff and facilities are top notch. Everything is clean and in working order. The pool is delightful and we met some fabulous folks at an impromptu "tiki hut" pot luck. Very Kewl place! I really appreciated the new laundry, fast wifi and the super clean showers and baths. 5 stars all around, Thank You Clayton for a wonderful stay.

Pristine Marina, 2013-01-20

We arrived at OCM at 22:30 after a 36 hr run outside from St Mary. Well marked and lit channel made this an ideal location to stop. Knowing of our arrival time Travis, Harbor Master, allowed us to snug up to the fuel dock for the night and reposition in the morning at our convenience, and gave us access codes in advance so we could enjoy the facility upon arrival. Bathroom/showers were in top notch condition, the pool with piped in music was a delightful respite the next morning to catch up on email and lounge in the sun before our departure. (Construction on the locks restricted our departure until 18:00.) Dock hands were very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyable restaurants within walking distance. We met several live-a-boards, all very friendly and helpful! We'd highly recommend and definitely stop here again!

Ocean Club Marina, 2012-11-04
Captain: , London (342)

State of the art floating docks with good clearance, proper cleats, power and high pressure water. Clean bathrooms, very helpful staff. Very smart Club House available 8.30am to 5pm with pool table and TV, balcony overlooking the marina. Tikki hut and free use of a gas bar-bar-q grill. Marina is little used and very quite.

Ajoining is a yard with the largest travel hoist able to lift large craft including catamarans. Yard is seperate to the marina and is run by Eric.

Approximately 1 mile to various bars and restaurants on the canal.

Supermarket (Publix) is a cab ride away.

Orlando airport is approx 45 mins away.

A bit over rate, 2012-07-01

Evidently the folkes giving this 5 stars have never stayed at a realy nice marina. While this stay was fine, I would say average, at best and most definately overpriced. Last time through here we stared right next door, at the CC Yacht Club, a rocks through away, for $1.60/ ft compared to $2.25/ ft. Not quite as fancy, but certainly for value for the dollar. Would not stay here again, for $2.25.ft.

Great place, 2012-04-04
Captain: , Hyannis Port (111)

This is a modern facility with clean ammenities. However it is a form of boating condominium. The club house is primariloy for members but share during day time hours with cruisers. The docks are for sale. We have stayed here 3 times and have been very satisfied.
Restaraunts are about a 1mile walk.

Very modern first class Marina, 2011-12-17
Captain: , Naples Fl (42)

Thsi Marina is the real deal. Really new with wide concrete floating docks. Excellent protection. Very few live aboards or transients ....so nobody there most of the time makes it very private. The staff are great and the access by water or land is easy. Super clean and neat as a pin. You will need a bike or car to get around. Bike paths right out the front take you to everything. There is no nicer Marina in this area. I have checked them all.

Nice marina, but, 2011-12-11
Captain: , Lewis Creek, Md (1234)

Ocean Club is nice marina, good floating docks and power, but they were having continuing problems with internet. I stayed 3 days, and had them reset it multiple times without effect. It was soooo slow. Only simple pages downloaded. Could not get e-mails. Staff was helpful, bathrooms clean

Favorite marina, 2010-04-06
Captain: , Noank, CT (20)

We spent 6 weeks here on 2 seperate occasions. Easy access from ocean, no bridges to marina. Top notch operation, super-clean facilities. Manager and dock staff very helpful. Car needed for groceries and most shopping. Local car rentals pick up and deliver free. Couple of nearby seafood restaurants. Would definitely return.

Very Nice, at a price!, 2009-11-30

Floating docks, very nice facility. Luxurious and spacious lounge on second floor. The goal for this is to become a private "dockominium", but the econonomy has slowed this plan and they are only too happy to accomodate transients for now anyway.

Best marina around th eSpace Coast, 2009-03-30

We have been in the area for a couple of years and find this marina to be the best--best condition, nicest amenities, super friendly staff, great location to jump outside. Price is worth it.

Watching shuttle launch, 2009-03-20
Captain: , Havre de Grace (119)

Stopped at ocena club marina to see shuttle launch. Great view except one cannot see basepad as a building is in the way. First class marina with a very friendly, helpful staff. If they see you walking they come over and offer a cart ride.
