Reviews for Ocean City Yacht Club
Very friendly, exposed dock, no power., 2014-08-20
Captain: , Annapolis (70)

Very welcoming when they saw our Y.C. burgee. Invited to dine at the restaurant upstairs (byo wine).

90 ft dock in 12 ft depth. No power. Exposed to wake from passing powerboats.

Bridge was no problem for 55 ft mast and 3 ft whip. Passed under at 4.5 ft high tide with room to spare. Two red bouys immediatly past mean a hard left in possibly strong current but did it with no problem.

best experience of our trip north, 2013-05-06
Captain: , staten island,ny (120)

Minimal dock facilities to support a sailing program, in a dry town.
We had a tiring day with 3 shoalings and weather from hell. We happened on tis club by sounding the horn, and as YC members from elsewhere, they allowed us to tie up. Nice doesn't begin to explain. They were having a party, yet they helped us tie up in high wind, and then invited us for dinner. Not enough? We were thanked for stopping in, and there's more. The next morning a few members drove by and asked us if we need a ride to stores.
Grateful and happy for he experience. What yachting is all about.
