I'll go backl, 2016-07-21
Captain: , Deltaville, Virginia (30)

This marina is on my "best" list. Friendly and helpful staff, nice slips with power and water. Restaurant on site. Clean and modern showers and bathrooms. No washers or dryers, but the atmosphere makes up for it. I'll go back and recommend it to my frifends.

Really liked this place, 2015-07-02
Captain: , St. Petersburg, FL (201)

The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is no laundry and I couldn't find wifi at the docks. Otherwise, very high marks. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Staff, etc., 2015-02-20
Captain: , Summerlin, NV (350)

We stayed there in our 23' boat while cruising throughout the Chesapeake area. The guys were wonderful to deal with, even with our small size. The marina is wide, clean, and moden, and well protected during bad weather. They maintain their own boat ramp which handled our boat with ease. Restroom facilities are good, but they did not have local laundry facilities when we were there in summer '14 (not sure about now). We used their boat yard to have the bottom painted and for some other small work. While their prices seemed a bit high their work was quality. If we are ever back in this area we will definitely plan to stay at this marina again.

Excellent Restaurant, 2014-11-04
Captain: , Occoquan, VA (390)

New Restaurant, The Landings, has excellent food, especially the shrimp garlic appetizer...similar to Landings restaurant at Coles Point marina, where both are owned by Chef Clayton from Geranio Restaurant in Old Towne Alexandria...he is apparently transitioning his Geranio menu and recipes to his two Landings locations...Manager Bob working to improve restaurant quality and food...still could look at reducing drink prices to match excellent food.

A MUST STOP! Elegant, Efficient, Down-to-Earth, Fun - Affordable!, 2014-09-28
Captain: , Valdez AK. (80)

Can't stay enough about the marina and family and folks who run and operate this clean, beautiful marina! Perfect location- groceries, food, West Marine, laundry, Thrift store- within walking distance -just put your walking shoes on! They go out of their way to make all feel at home! Complete with Grilling Pavillion, showers, fuel, great ship store all landscaped with love and elegance! NEW: adjacent 'The Landing'; features outside dining, entertainment, tiki hut perfect to grab a burger, amazing calamarai, or spurge a bit with spiffy dining! We will miss our candle dinners at the grilling pavillion during the week - we had the place all to ourselves! Thanks for spoiling boaters! Miss you already!
We look forward to our return! Thanks so much guys for making us feel so at home!

Nice folks and very helpful, 2014-08-29
Captain: , North Myrtle Beach, SC (3210)

We were told that they do not generally take transients, but they took us. I guess if they have room. They were very helpful for us new to the area (We are from NC). Good price for the facilities ($1.50 + $5). Nice docks. Too far from town to walk.

Very nice marina and restaurant , 2014-08-20
Captain: , Everett WA (424)

I stayed here two nights and enjoyed my stay. Restaurant has an outdoor upscale tiki hut feel and inside has white tablecloths and excellent food. Restrooms are clean and the showers have outstanding water pressure.
Unfortunately, there is nowhere to go without a taxi ride. Still, I would stay here again gladly.

Landings Restaurant is now open!, 2014-07-09
Captain: , Prince William Marina, Woodbridge (100)

We have been there 3 times now with groups up to 10, each time they have done a great job. They do have some transient dock space to tie up while at the restaurant (we were told that if its a busy night, call ahead to the dockmaster, he will try to keep a spot open for you on the dock)

First Rate In Every Way, 2014-04-17
Captain: , Occoquan, VA (10)

Well protected marina, with many amenities. Terry, Rob and the entire staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Maintenance staff on site, a modestly stocked marine supply store, with most key needs and great prices. Restaurant being remodeled - will be a great addition when it opens later this year. A friendly atmosphere and great location!

Very accomodating staff, 2014-03-22
Captain: , Chesapeake City, MD (10)

We recently purchased a boat that had been moved to Occoquan Harbour Marina to take advantage of their 25 ton travel lift. Terry and his crew went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. They even came in on their day off to accommodate us during our survey. The marina is extremely clean and well kept with a nicely stocked ships store. They are also in the process of completing a restaurant on site. This marina is well worth a stop, you will not be disappointed.

Nice Protected Marina with great folks, 2014-02-02
Captain: , Pensacola, FL (695)

A nice floating dock Marina and nice people who run it. They have closed the noisy bar and are redoing it as a restaurant. Should open in the spring of 2014. Will be a great addition and improvement. Have upgraded the score to 4 stars. It is a, nice weather secure and safe location with good showers and they have on site mechanics, haul out capability, and can get you servicce on anything you need. Highway one bridge is wrong on the chart. Came through easily with 54 ft Mast. Marina says it is 65 ft.

Excellent Stopover, 2013-09-15
Captain: , Deltaville, Va (40)

Our group of 8 sailboats visited on a cruise to DC in Sept, 2013. The staff was friendly, professional & attentive. Facilities were clean, nice floating docks and covered picnic area was perfect. Easy access from Potomac under two 65 ft bridges.

Overnight Stay at OHM, 2013-09-06
Captain: , Fairfax, VA (80)

We took our 22 foot sailboat to OHM for an overnight stay 9/1/2013. Great marina and very friendly staff (Terry Holzman). Docks and facilities in very good shape with easy access from river. Would come back anytime.

Nice Marina, 2013-08-21
Captain: , Marco Island, FL (1145)

The marina is great - facilities nice, clean and short walk. There's BBQs and a great covered part with tables and chairs. The restaurant is closed. Short cab ride to town. Can't really walk since the sidewalk doesn't go all the way to town. Your kinda on a highway. You could dinghy up the river to town!

New Restaurant Management, 2011-03-23
Captain: , Woodbridge, VA (137)

Lots of changes at the restaurant. While sun is up the food is good and there's plenty of bar space. Late at night it's not a place I frequent. That's not to say it's bad, just not my preference.

I agree with Trawler Gil, 2007-07-16
Captain: , Quantico (59)

Very nice looking marina, but as Gil says, there is really nothing close by, however; it is accessable by taxicab and not too far from normal shopping and with a mile or so of Marine West.
