Reviews for Oak Point State Park
Good dockage, 2015-02-28
Captain: , cincinnati, oh (20)

Other 2 reviews are correct except size restriction. My Albin 27 is 30" draft and 9 foot wide, no issues. Only approach these docs from the SE as there are rocks from the point to Govenors Islland. Easy to hitch a ride on other's golf carts into town. Beautiful view of Perry's Memorial Tower.

Good for a powerboat, 2011-05-04
Captain: , Catawba Island, OH (523)

Well maintained docks. Rest rooms just steps from the docks. Very inexpensive for Put In Bay. About a 15 minute walk to the bars and restaurants, and far enough away from the craziness that can run into the wee hours in town. Under 4' of water in the area of the docks and there is a beam restriction (8' I think) to dock there.

Basic Docks, 2009-07-02
Captain: , Catawba Island, Ohio (610)

The docks here are very basic. No Power or water, and can not accomodate a vessel much larger then 26 feet or so. But a good place to leave a day boat overnight or a pocket cruiser, if you don't need power, and you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Put In Bay. Just watch your approach. There are quite a few rocks in here!
