Reviews for Oak Park Resort Marina
July 10 - 12, 2015 - Great Weekend Stay!, 2015-07-29
Captain: , Greece, NY (10)

IBoated into Sodus Bay for the weekend and stayed at Oak Park Marina and Resort. We had booked a reservation for the weekend and had 4 boats in our group. Steve and Danielle directed us to, met us at our slips and settled us in giving us the run down of how and where things are. Danielle gave us a tour of the grounds. The marina is a really nice place offering gas, pump out, ice, pool, hot tub, bar and full service restaurant. we met Caleb who took care of our fueling and was helpful and friendly as the rest of the staff.

We all ate at the restaurant one night. The food was excellent and all 12 in our party that night enjoyed their meals. We were warned by some of the regulars that food was a little slow to the table (they were right) but the wait staff was good and we had no where we had to be.

the grounds are nice, walking paths easy, shower and bathrooms were clean. Docks slightly worn and in need of a little attention but nothing dangerous or that some new wood surface wouldn't take care of.

the boaters and regular dockers we met while there were all very nice as well. They were more than helpful to share a story/experience, the best place to be or the way to get there.

Thanks to all.

Nicest marina on the lake, 2011-08-26
Captain: , Webster, NY (10)

Beautiful, quiet, protected. Terrific facilities with a pool, hot tub, fire pit, boaters lounge, beautiful grounds. The restaurant is fantastic with live music on Friday and great food. The people are very friendly. There is also an Inn for loding. There simply is not a more complete or beautiful marina on the bay if not the lake.

Good marina with nice facilities, 2010-11-20
Captain: , Pultneyville, NY (852)

A reasonably well run marina with good facilities and grounds. New management made several major improvements and upgraded service early on but, the general state of repair of the facilities has declined over the past couple of years. The restaurant is no longer open, just the bar with a limited menu. The marina is very weedy. Deep keel sailboats, especially those with wing keels will invariably pick up a load of weeds getting into and out of the marina.

One of the best on Lake Ontario, 2008-04-08
Captain: , Sodus Bay, NY (505)

We have traveled to many marinas on Lake Ontario, and found Oak Park to be among the best. This marina has a beautiful restaurant named WayPoint which serves great food.
The marina also has all the amenities including swimming pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, laundry, showers and a new boater's lounge. Wi-Fi is available throughout the marina.
Stop by and say hello to Robb, the owner or one of it's fine staff people. Call 315-587-2300, or they can usually be reached on VHF 16
