We have been stopping here for years and although they now chg. for the first night, it is a practice we are seeing at more clubs on Lake Ontario and farther afield.
I believe we need to support our sister clubs. Small clubs are struggling with a loss of members and a nominal charge is only a fair contribution to help them maintain a dock you are welcome at.
OOYC is a very friendly club with clean facilities, grea t food but no quick or nearby access to stores.

It is a long way in off the lake. On a hot day it is stiffling. They have a unique way of setting up docks in the middle of the river which means it is a long walk up to the club house

One of the more intriguing YC set ups. The docks are built way out from shore to reach deep water and everything is connected to the mainland by a raised walkway. We had lots of depth, but it was a long way up to the clubhouse for showers and washrooms. Also, their idea of reciprocal is to charge the first night (only $20) and give the second night free. This would seem to be a rather transparent attempt to profit from the transient traffic, why anyone would want to stay more than one night is beyond me.... the river is filthy and the valley is bereft of breeze.....
