Reviews for North Hero Marina
Nice protected marina, 2015-08-30
Captain: , North Hero (303)

We were introduced to this marina almost 3 years ago, we put oir boat there because it was quiet and far for the main roads, Jim and Mary the owners are really nice people. We appreciate this place.

Nice Setting with Good On-site Resources and Great Folks, 2015-05-31
Captain: , Seattle Wa (200)

There is a large local boat presence but they also treated us (transient) well thanks to friendly attention from Jamie and Mallory. Nice docks, a restaurant on the pool deck and a good ships store. This is a rural setting. Good protection from South or SW winds. Showers/restrooms are OK and a bit of a walk. Transient rate is $1.65/foot and I would suggest calling ahead. We were there early in the season and they were just getting started. It's close to a four star.
I think my ratings are tougher than some peoples. Here are my rating guidelines - - 1 star - Lousy, skip this one- 2 star - Not terrible but we wouldn't come back- 3 star - Quite nice. We liked it overall and would return- 4 star - Great experience including facilities, management and setting- 5 star - Spectacular everything (there aren't many of these - Maybe the megadock in Charleston)

Very professional services, 2014-05-29

Went there to step the mast, the service was very professional Jim and Jamee were very helpfull and know exactly what to do and when do it. Those guys provided the best service I had on Going Knots. Highly recommended.

Friendly Owners and always trying to help, 2014-02-22
Captain: , Willsboro Bay Marina (2412)

We went to visit the facilities by dinguy.
Dinghy dock is free.
The owners greated us in a very friendly manner. They offered all the information we need. They extended the restaurant hour to accommodate us.
No groceries (small convience for last minute essentials) and wine.

Wifi is free and access to the pool is for registered transients docking on the west side of the marina.

The grounds are clean.

Great place to stop, 2013-07-29
Captain: , Winter Garden, Fl (2350)

We stayed just one night, but were treated very well. Jim, the owner was great - very accomdating. Beautiful grounds - clean restrooms/showers. Great little bar & grill - friendly folks. Nice area to walk around. Downside was no laundry and no store on site or within walking distance.

A very nice marina!, 2013-07-14
Captain: , Lake Champlain (226)

Nice people, nice grounds - they actually have grass and shade! DOg friendly, nice showers, excellent docks. They have a snack bar, and a gorgeous pool. A very nice marina that I wish was handy for me to use.

Great Marina, 2013-07-10
Captain: , North Hero Marina (407)

This our second year at this Marina and we love it. Jim and Mary the owners are very kind and helpfull so does the rest of the staff. Docks are in good shape. The Marina is protected from almost every wind except north east.

Excellent service, 2011-11-28
Captain: , Montreal (20)

Been there many times. Short trip from Saint-Jean, staff always friendly, new showers. I spend the day at the beach State park and come back at Pelots Bay for the evening.

Fun place to visit, 2009-08-30
Captain: , East Greenbush, NY (745)

We stayed there a few times in 2008 and always found it a neat place. The tiki bar/grill and pool make it a fun place to visit. The docks are in good shape as are the rest of the facilities. We found the staff and the "residents" pleasant.

worst place on the lake for service, 2009-07-09
Captain: , montreal (81)

boaters seem to disturb the people at the service dock. very unpleasant
