Reviews for North Haven Public Landing
Good Dinghy Dock and Access to Town, 2015-07-05
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (4015)

When anchored or moored somewhere within dinghy-ride distance, this dock provides easy access to the small town of North Haven. There are five restaurants, a gift shop, post office, library, community center (with a couple live theater events), and a print shop with innovative design printed t-shirts. We picked up some great sandwiches at The Market for an enjoyable lunch on the boat. We believe the two new venues in the Calderwood Hall (The Market and the pizza restaurant) will prove to be two popular destinations for cruisers.

Not much here, but for one weekend in August...., 2014-08-10
Captain: , Muskegon, MI (2982)

All the other reviews are quite accurate...the town has very little to recommend, but if you ever have the good timing to be near North Haven during their Community Days, the street party there is without equal. The place barely has a grocery, the one restaurant is a takeout window, BUT the amount of musical talent in this town of 355 is beyond belief. Five bands, and every band was just phenomenal. I don't give musical accolades easily, but this town frickin' ROCKS! Citizens from 3 to 90 were dancing in the street...man, do I hurt today! Very cool races in the afternoon...lobster traps, cod carrying. Had an absolute BLAST.

Great Community Center, 2010-08-26
Captain: , Key Biscayne FL (3049)

The CC has a nice lounge with Wifi and a coffee kiosk. The Dine Inside or Out across the street is a disappointment. Por food high prices. Lauundry and showers at J.O Brown but be prepared for dank and grubby conditions. Laundry looks like a horror movie set from the one with the fisherman and his hook.

Fine and free dinghy dock, 2010-07-17
Captain: , Sarasota (1427)

3 stars because there are no services, but 5 stars as a dinghy dock. It is a good place to dock your dinghy while anchored in the harbor and walk around town. At least two restaurants - the Coal Wharf and Nebo Lodge. Also a couple gift shops and galleries.
