Reviews for North Channel Yacht Club
A Co-op Club, 2015-07-20
Captain: , Touisset Point, RI (20)

We stayed at the North Channel Yacht Club July 17-18, 2015. There is no dockmaster nor fuel available at the club. The club membership is 95% sailboats, most of which are kept on moorings. The docks can accommodate about 15 boats with shore power and water at the slips. Club members volunteer for all of the work and are very welcoming of guests. Cash or checks (drawn on Canadian banks) are accepted for slip and other fees. Slips run $1.50/ft/night with no extra charge for power or water. Use of showers is an additional $3/day. Club members bring their own fuel for their boats. We were offered rides into town to get fuel or any other supplies that we might need. This is a beautiful site, well protected, and with about 8 slips available at the time of our visit. We would make this a regular stop on visits to the North Channel area. The channel coming in to Serpent is well marked and the scenery is spectacular.

Fuel no longer available, 2013-08-01
Captain: , Penetanguishene (95)

As of the 2013 season, fuel is no longer availble. Otherwise an excellent friendly facility.

Nice folks here, 2012-09-27
Captain: , Conway (145)

If you need information or help, these folks are great. The Yacht Club is interesting as to the layout and shuttling of craft from the hard to the water (rail system).

Nice stop over., 2011-02-16
Captain: , North Channel Yacht Club (94)

This a very friendly place to stop for a day or two. If you need a hand doing a job there's always someone offering to help out or get you what you need. A wonderfull small club if you are looking for a place to keep your boat on the North Channel.
