Great slip and experience. Super people. They tried to help us find fuel, however, no one was open. Casey's fuel barge answered their phone call, but couldn't be bothered for our 300 gallons.

You might have thought you had a large boat until you spend some time in this marina. Awsome is the word of the day. They are equiped to handle almost any size megayacht. The marina is clean and very professional. There is restaurant which services their guest and the food quality is good. We were docked on the northern most dock directly next to the bridge to Goat island. It was good for people watching. The traffic noise during the day could be a problem, but at night it was very quiet. There are many racing sail yachts located there and every morning we woke to the sound of an air compressor for the divers that would clean the bottom of these boats. The cost is another thing, it's relatively expensive to dock there, but your in Newport so what do you expect. It's basically only a 10 minute walk to all the action. In the end it is much quieter than being in the heart of town.

Just about every type of service you can imagine is on site, from a ship store to insurance! Very good cafe, and some incredible yachts to check out. We stayed off season after a race and recieved great service from the dock hands, even though we were probably the smallest boat in the marina. The in season rates look a little pricey, but probably not more than the rest of Newport.

Highly Overpriced!, 2012-07-25

2012-07-22 This was our 3rd stay here and most likely our last. We were only able to get a slip for one night which I am quite thankful for in hindsight. The wooden dock had no power pedestal and the dockboys had to run a 50' power cord down the dock for ours to plug into. The slip was very near to the travel-lifts and the commercial fishing boats tied to the wharf behind us. The fishing boats started reving up at 6:15 AM and there was no sleeping after that. And all of this 'luxury' for $5.25 a foot!!! - plus $30.00 a night for electric which we hardly used since it was a cool night and we didn't have to aircondition. Their monthly rate during the summer months is $135.00 / ft - so you could keep your 20' boat in one of their slips for a month for a measley $2,700.00 - what most marinas might charge for an intire season. They see those with plenty of $ as being willing to pay their price even if what they get for their dollars is no more than what they can get for half the price at some other marinas, and I feel qualified to state that since we have stayed at almost 100 different ones up and down the East Coast. Oh how I hate the feeling that I've been "HAD"!

Our 50 footer was the smallest boat there! Great staff and well kept docks/yard. very short walk to the hart of town

So many high-end yachts. Check out the J-boat in the shed before getting breakfast here.

I recommend the blueberry pancakes.
