Reviews for Newburgh Yacht Club
Friendly folks if you can find 'em., 2017-01-12
Captain: , Ashland, wi (200)

Don't make the mistake of entering the tie up slip area looking for the fuel dock. We did and it was damned near impossible to get back out. Fuel dock is upstream of residential tie ups.

Currents at the fuel dock will play havoc with you depending on tidal/wind conditions.

Expect to get no help on shore. They assume you can take care of your own needs. We just stopped for fuel.

Too shallow for Sailboats, 2015-10-04
Captain: , Toronto, Ontario. Canada (20)

no slips can accommodate sailboats, gas dock is 9 ft at high tide.

Help we need fuel, 2014-09-02
Captain: , Grand Haven (470)

It was after labor day we rolled in about 10 AM. Our fuel supply was showing empty on the port side and less than 1/8 of a tank on the starboard. We could not find a single person on site. Thank goodness that the pumps took visa. For this reason you get a three ster rating.
As for anything else I have no info.

Very nice restaurant, 2013-08-12
Captain: , Montreal (329)

The restaurant needs a four-five star but the marina well, no assistance at the dock, they don't know where the 50 or 30 amp plugs are, some water connectors don't work, no signs for check in.
so here are some answers, check in is at the restaurant, 2$ a foot electricity included so that is not so bad, the bathrooms are in the restaurant when it's open, sorry no showers, when it's closed their is a small building beside the restaurant which are bathrooms.
a train passes once in a while, and blows his horn, little noisy in the parking lots beside the marina, parking spot for the local kids
hope this helps

Nobody home, 2011-09-22
Captain: , jackson, TN (884)

Twice in the last 4 months and once two years ago we have tried to stay at this club. They never answer the phone and then it shifts over to their fax. Sometimes they answer email and sometimes they don't, but never quickly. We are giving up trying.

Gas dock no pumpout, 2011-03-16
Captain: , Machias, ME (85)

Handy placement for those going north, easy to find in a busy part of the river. Good fuel dock, no pumpout. Very nice restaurant.
