Yes - Sundowners Bar and Grill

Plymouth Rock Bar and Package Goods Store, 1-242-365-4234. A great place in New Plymouth to have a quick lunch, fresh fish sandwiches and fresh conch fritters. Also the only liquor store in New Plymouth. Limited seating at the bar, but normally, there's room. Great place to have lunch after checking in to Customs and Immigration (just down the street) at Green Turtle.

Two Shortey's Restuarant is located on the corner of Crown & Walter street. Serve lunch from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and dinner from 5 pm until 9 pm. Great place for local Bahamian take-out food. Very good menu, and fast service. Even has a picnic table out front so you can eat on-site. Great mac and cheese, conch burgers, etc. Close to downtown New Plymouth.

Reviews for New Plymouth Public Dock
Stop here for Chinese food, 2016-05-26
Captain: , Hollywood (462)

There is an Asian Food Van near that has almost perfect real American/Chinese food at very reasonable prices. All freshly cooked to order, whether Mongolian Beef or General Tso's Chicken. What a great and pleasant surprise!

Great location, 2016-01-05
Captain: , Mayport Florida (452)

Large dingy dock centrally located. Walking distance to everything New Plymouth has to offer. Be watchful of the ferry that docks on the outboard end.

Excellent Public Dock, 2014-08-27
Captain: , Miami Beach (223)

Right next to the ferry landing, but the ferries proceed inside at idle speed so wake is not a problem. Well maintained dock, solid ladders. Use a stern anchor to both maximize room and prevent the dink from becoming trapped underneath the pier.

New Bakery in Town, 2014-03-29
Captain: , Essex, CT (1245)

A new bakery/ice cream shop has opened this spring called Mo-Mo's Suga Shack. They are located across from the museum on Parliment Street near Customs. They have a large selection of freshly baked breakfast treats, cakes & snacks. They also have several types of freshly baked bread as well as several favors of ice cream. Phone: (242)699-3880.

Easy to use and get on/off, 2013-05-08
Captain: , North Myrtle Beach, SC (3210)

There are several dink docks around town, and all are very usable.

Follow channel markers!, 2013-02-09
Captain: , Wiscasset ME (1435)

Very nice public dock where you can tie up a dinghy. Make sure you stay in the channel when entering New Plymouth harbor. Dock is in excellent repair. Customs office is straight up the road from the dock on the left.

Stay in the Channel !, 2013-02-03
Captain: , Eau Gallie, FL (349)

It is VERY shallow going into this scenic bay. By all means, take your dink, but even a dinghy motor can hit bottom is you don't mind the markers at the entrance. Its a good idea to set a small stern anchor to keep your dink off the dock and from going under the dock at low tide. It also allows for more dinks to land.

Dinghy Dock, 2012-06-05
Captain: , Merritt Island, FL (556)

The dinghy landings are in poor condition, missing planks. The dock is usable, just be very careful. Its a short walk to Customs from this dock.

Pretty Little Town, 2012-03-02
Captain: , Mayo, MD (424)

Picturesque place with some grocery stores municiple trash. Good dingy dock but watch the tide, we saw a submerged dingy that had been trapped under the landing by a rising tide. Trash receptacle.

New Plymouth convenience, 2012-02-03
Captain: , Cape Canaveral (1191)

The dock is convenient to New Plymouth town, though usable only for dinghies. Shopping is only five minutes on foot. The dock can handle about 8 dinks, is in generally good repair, but at low tide can be a few steps up the ladder to the deck. This dock is actually located in Settlement Creek, not as shown. The Government dock on the outside of Settlement Creek is used only by commercial shipping.
