There's a great open air market every Thursday and Sunday that hosts many fruit and veggie and cheese and spice dealers. Daily there are meat and fish shops open on the ground floor. This is what an American might call a farmer's market but the prices are reasonable and fair, if the items are in season. There are more than 200 fruit and veggie dealers that come on Thursday, less on Sundays. On Thursdays, the upstairs floor is teeming with merchants trying to sell you everything from hand bags to clothes, ornaments to spices, shoes to coats, and one must bargain to get a good price. This floor is not open on Sundays. The market is located between 112 Sokak and 114 Sokak. You can walk there but it is a hike.

Reviews for Netsel Marina
One of the most expensive and overrated marinas in Turkey, 2016-11-07
Captain: , rockland,me (287)

The water is dirty. I spent a week there for repairs and my hull needed hours of scrubbinbg to get off the oil and sludge. Exorbitant prices. It cost $130 for my 13 m sailboat to tie up per night. On top of that they charge for: electricity; water; and internet. Every night there is the throbbing of scores of discos and this throbbing continues until sunrise. Marina staff have the mentality and behavior of Gulag guards. They are inflexible and unsympathetic. After a week of repairs I wanted to take my boat out into the harbor to test the repairs. I had a mooring and had paid them for the week. their chase RIB came shooting out into the harbor after me insisting I return to the office and pay for the day in case I didn't return. I told them and the office via VHF that I was just testing. I offered to give the chase boat driver my credit card or read it over the VHF for the world (within 5 miles) to hear just t continue my test sail. But they were incorrigible. Two hours to return, moor, pay, un-moor and return to life. Marmaris Marina, 3 miles away offers more ambience, far more reasonable rates and has a swimming pool and the marina water is swimable.

Most unhelpful marineros, 2015-09-14
Captain: , Swanwick UK (515)

We just arrived here having read all the good reviews - and I have never found such unhelpful marineros. We waited a good 15 minutes bobbing around outside before they came out to meet us - they directed us to the C pontoon and when we arrived at the berth they were busy jetwashing their dinghy and ignored us. The dropped our mooring line in the water and nearly wrapped it around our prop - despite being asked to pull it up. There was no help with the lazy line - they reluctantly took it out of the water eventually and handed it to me. This is NOT what you need when mooring in 15 knots of wind. When we eventually got the boat sorted out, there was no welcome or information about where the office was or help with electricity or other information.

The marina itself does have good facilities but the staff clearly don't care at all. We will not come here again.

Netsel...very nice marina..., 2015-06-30
Captain: , Green Cove Springs FL (258)

Very nice, as everyone has already said. One criticism...it is located near several discos and the music can be very loud and go on into the wee hours of the morning.

Otherwice very nice. Security at the entrance, nice grocery and boutiques, all the amenities, right in town so you can walk everywhere.

An excellent Bay graphical Marina with full of service and very good security measures into the marina very clean and the local people very cooperative I just visited today and I had the chance to see all the available services. Prices are very cheap and really its worth anyone to visit Marmaris. The town is very close to the marina but of course you have the chance to visit the marina restaurant, bars, swimming pool, tennis club bowling, shops, any many other places. NETSEL marina can berth approximately 700 boats with floating piers length 152m and breakwater length about 295 meters.

Entering the bay of Marmaris, on the left you see the castle from the XVI century Ottoman which still keeps the port of Marmaris. To starboard is Netsel Marina at the foot of the hill covered with pine trees and shrubs gold.

Netsel Marmaris, 2012-09-15
Captain: , Carson City, NV (7181)

Netsel is a Setur marina and lives up to Setur standards. Although more expensive than near by Yat Marina the price includes power and water. This and its convenient to town location make it a good choice for those who will live aboard over winter.

Netsel Marina 2012, 2012-08-22
Captain: , Green Cove Springs, FL (1604)

We signed an annual contract for our 50'. NOT Cheap but does includes 16 amp shore power and water. Very close to town, and quite convenient. Intend to winter over. Believe this will be a better place to winter over than last year's Cesme Marina.
Marina has 145 rules, which seem to be enforced randomly.
