Reviews for Nautical Landings Marina
Great Marina, 2012-12-09
Captain: , Port Lavaca, TX (120)

We have liveaboard at this marina for 2 different periods. The showers and dayroom have just been renovated (as of 12/12) and are hugely improved. The docks have also been recently replaced. This marina has been very friendly to us as liveaboards and very affordable. The library, Walmart, post office, and grocery store are all very accessible by bicycle or to very motivated walkers. We have a Westsail 32 with a 5 foot draft and have not had depth issues approaching the marina, though our slip is not very far into the marina basin.

Great place very friendly!, 2012-08-08
Captain: , Norfolk, VA (174)

Very nice and friendly place, they have floating docks -1 yr old, they are rentivating the day room and redoing the bath and showers. Stephnie the Assistant Harbor master was in the office to welcome us. Called ahead 361-553-7041 and had many folk meet us at the dock to help with the lines. WARNING the Guide book says the Lavaca channel was 15 ft deep we only showed 9 and the marina channel was roughly 6-7 following the charts. No pumpout now but they will have one the end of September 2012. Walking distance to many places and if it is a bit farther or you cant walk it we were offered many rides to take us where we needed to go, Walgreens, Walmart etc. Will come back for a longer stay as the rates are very reasonable.

Great Little Place, 2012-08-08
Captain: , Reedville, VA (689)

Stopped in on the way to Mattgorda. New floating docks. Clean showers and Captains lounge. Friendly dockmates.

No Slips at this time., 2011-07-29
Captain: , Port OConnor, Tx (628)

They are replacing "A" dock and work has just started. B dock is full with no slips avilable for transits. Day room is getting run down. Showers are dirty. There is a washer and dryer and a kitchen. Marina can be very rough with no breakwater and a 16 mile fetch. Boats with more than 4 foot of draft will have to push mud to get in and leave in the winter.

Friendly Harbor, 2009-12-19
Captain: , Port Aransas, Texas (998)

A friendly harbor with a mix of those going and those who have gone "out there". Port Lavaca is tucked back in the bay and approaches require one to stay in the channels. On the way, one passes Indianola, the site of early Texas history. Some restaurants and provisioning is within walking distance.
