Reviews for Mulhouse Port de Plaisance
Mulhouse is way underrated, 2014-08-06
Captain: , Washington DC (3034)

We had heard marginal reviews of this town, but had the time and decided to spend a day or two there. We stayed a week! Incredible daily fruit market, fantastic museums, great kebab stands, and almost every night at the port there was a pot-luck barbequeue. A hidden gem in eastern France!

No internet, watch out for security, 2014-06-19
Captain: , Decize, France (1509)

Basically I concur with the other reviewer. However, we were in slip 1.1 and there was an unlocked gate allowing access to our boat. No big problem as we used our 12mm bicycle lock to lock it up when we were gone and at night.
Also, no internet and for this price there should be.
M. Bry, the capitan, is quite friendly and if you speak some French he is a hoot to talk to. There are several liveabords here who congregate in the little park between the marina and the street.

Excellent location to visit the city of Mulhouse. Wonderful rail and tram connections at adjacent railway station (Gare).
Well run port, gated entrance, good facilities
The Railway Museum and the Automotive Museum are worth the stop alone, can buy a combined ticket for both. The museums are an enjoyable tram ride away.
Once out of city excellent bicycle paths along Rhone au Rhin to Niffer and then along Grand Canal d'Alsace to Kembs and return part way through the forest
