Reviews for Morehead Gulf Docks
Great for fuel, 2015-10-29
Captain: , Baltimore, Md (10)

Very friendly and helpful service. Diesel price was the lowest around. Filled my 400 gal water tank for free. Wish they had a pump out.

Great Place to stop for feul or Bait, Ice, Etc, 2015-05-16
Captain: , St Augustine, Fl (477)

Easy approach and great dockhands ready to serve you with a smile.
2 young men, I forget there names but thanks. Prices were very good for the area.

THE PLACE FOR FUEL, 2013-11-02
Captain: , KEYPORT, NJ (94)

I have known this for many years and stop almost every trip to top off the tank. But this time I was running late, and wanted an early start offshore in the morning. The owner offered to wait for us to come in and get that fuel. We decided to also just stay right on his dock for the night. No fancy facility, but the best price for diesel on the east coast and fantastic service. Go there. Often.

Owner/Operator will meet you for fuel, 2012-05-05
Captain: , Atlantic Beach, NC (86)

Excellent service for fuel. Call Owner/Operator on his cell phone @ 252-342-2536 during winter hours and they will arrange to meet you. May 05, 2012 gasoline, regular (with no alcohol) $4.11/gal.

Fuel price, 2009-06-09
Captain: , Jacksonville FL (84)

Fuel cost on June 8, 2009 was $2.13 a gallon plus 6.75% tax. It was $2.08 plus tax if you paid in cash or with a NC check. Dockage was easy. It is better to enter and exit from the turning basin side than from the west which is shallow even at high tide. We crossed 4.5 foot areas at high tide.

Cheap Diesel, 2007-04-05
Captain: , Deale, MD (31)

On a recent trip from the Chesapeake to Florida, the Gulf Dock was $.30/gal less than the next cheapest diesel and $.90/gal less than the most expensive. It was high sulfur, which should only be used by older diesels, but as high sulfur is no longer in production, the Gulf Docks should be useable by all.
