Reviews for Montbeliard Port de Plaisance
15 euros per night and no wi-fi? Get real, 2014-06-01
Captain: , Decize, France (1509)

Very expensive to stay here (so far only Chalone cost more but they had a first rate facility, fuel dock, and 5 ton crane.) Stay only if you absolutely must have electricity. Otherwise, stay on the other side of the canal for free where the market Intermarche is. If you need water, get it at the VNF at ecluse 20. If you do decide to stay here, to go to the Intermarche go across the Petit Hollande bridge and cross the road upstream and go down the steps. Otherwise it is a long haul from the port.
Since you get only 1 hour of internet anyway, go to the tourist office if it is open, and get the instructions. Not sure but I'd bet that the wifi extends the extra 20 meters across the canal to the free dock.

Port de Plaisance is not picturesque but good facilities and the people at the Tourist Office on site were very helpful.
Good stop to visit attractions in the area and for reprovisioning
