Reviews for Montague Harbour Marina
Best Marina Bookstore & Cafe, 2017-05-31

Check out the marina booknook curated by Mike, one of the owners. Small but excellent selection of books with many by local island authors. Boating and crabbing guides are also stocked alongside with eclectic picks like comedian Mary Walsh's first mystery novel.
The Crane and Robin cafe attached to the marina offers great cocktails and food choices, including some great craft beers. We had the homemade hummus served with tortilla chips which was a great snack between 4 of us!

FYI - some updated info:
1. The marina now has excellent wif-fi, though the harbour has weak to no cell service in some areas.
2. The grocery store is small, but has all the essentials. Basic fresh fruits and vetables are available, small portions of frozen fish and meats, as well as eggs, bread, chips, condiments, etc.
3. While there are flush toilets there are no shower facilities.
4. Don't know about potable water availability at the docks ....
5. The restaurant is small, has a limited menu, but was quite good. Service was excellent.

OK for short stay, 2015-08-30

As others have commented the docks in some areas need help. Wifi is poor at best, but works if you don't mind waiting for items to load. No water due to shortage so we had to ration our use. Showers OK have seen better.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is great for a jaunt to town but all stores are very expensive. Thrifty is a good market for basics. I may stay here again but need to try a different marina next time for comparison.

Wonderful ... but be prepared!, 2015-07-26

This is such a great place! Amazing staff, wooden docks in good shape, with good power and strong wi-fi. NO water, this means no showers, and no potable water, so make sure your tanks are full beforehand. The bus to the Hummingbird pub is worth the adventure, and maybe a stroll down to the marine park as well. Store/cafe is clean and typical "small island" ...very enjoyable! We are heading back here in a month or so!

great staff on the dock and in the store. The beaches are a short dinghy away. FYI - No potable water available

Great little marina and store!, 2012-08-22
Captain: , Anacortes (110)

We got one of the last spaces on an August weekday. Marina personnel were friendly and accommodating. We also took the "bus" to the Hummingbird Pub.... What a great little deal, the bus comes by the marina and brought us to the pub in the woods. Great place for adults and kids and great food and margaritas.

There's gas at the dock and a nice little store that is a well stocked marina store, definitely not a grocery store for major shopping.

Stay in the marina or for free in the extremely well-sheltered (and crowded during the summers) bay and dingy in to the marina and catch the shuttle to a restaurant.

Sweet Spot run by great people, 2011-04-23

Have tied up here numerous times. I really like the owners here they go out of their way to fit you in even if the place is crowded and if you call ahead. It is a clean if somewhat limited in terms of washroom facilities. Store has fairly good range of supplies. Easy to get in and out of the docks and helpful dock staff. Beautiful llocation.

Friendly but needs some work, 2009-08-25

We came here but should have gone to the Provincial Park in the harbour instead. Docks were a lilttle old and rough but the staff was friendly and willing to make everything work. A small store and restaurant and fuel at the docks.
