Operation (seasonal or year-round)
Unknown

Additional info:

Approach

Keep the boat in the fairway channel as there are some nasty rocks to the south side of the channel. The water north of the fairway gets very shallow, very quickly, so keep the two mooring buoys to starboard as you approach the marina.

Be aware, that if you draw more than 4' or so, many of the slips will leave you aground at low tide, and that getting out of the marina may require you timing your departure with high tide.

Reviews for Moby Dick Marina
Such a nice place., 2015-03-19
Captain: , Swifts Neck Wareham, MA (252)

Years ago, I lived on my boat here for awhile and let me tell ya, it's a nice place to be. Owners Arion and John are first class guys. Friendly, helpfull, honest and fair. I store my boat here every winter and will continue to do so. No fuel or pumpout.

Moby Dick- Great Marina!, 2014-10-20
Captain: , Moby Dick (60)

Moby Dick is a great spot to keep your vessel. Very clean, short walk to D&D or Market Basket. Even though it's next to I-195, it is very scenic and there is a beautiful spot next door to take a walk when you can't go out (yes, it's a cemetary but there are some beautiful specimen trees that are just gorgeouss!) . John, Arion & Gia are are very friendly and give sound advice. This is our first 32' boat, our dock neighbors are great people and very helpful.

PEOPLE OF CHARACTER, 2012-11-24
Captain: , East Falmouth, MA (1533)

In Oct. I signed a contract for winter storage for my 40' Mainship with John and gave him a $500 deposit with my Visa card. I fully intended to store the boat there for this winter, and was not actively trying to sell it, when out of the internet, someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse and bought my boat. When I called John and told him I would not need to store the boat, he cheerfully refunded my deposit. He was certainly entitled to keep the deposit, but did not. This speaks highly of his business ethics, and character. You can be sure I will store my next boat there for years to come.

Very friendly owners. Family operation, run well. Call marina for directions in as it gets tricky for deeper draft boats the closer you get to marina, but it can be done. Last marina you can access before fixed bridges stop you.
