Reviews for Miller's Marina
Only Deisel from Brewerton to Buffalo, 2015-05-31
Captain: , Liverpool N.Y. (79)

Called ahead to make sure there was adequate supply of deisel. Owner was great. Canal marina caters to mostly older boats. Had good supply of older boat parts in store. Docks are a little outdated, but depth is no issue.

We only bought Gasoline here, 2015-01-14
Captain: , Key Largo (5330)

prices were in line, easy access in and out friendly gas attendent

Not sure on overnite dockage, etc.

Miller's Marina, 2014-07-03
Captain: , Waukegan Port District (30)

To be kind, owner is a colorful individual. ONLY ACCEPTS CASH! Not a lot of places to fill with diesel West of here.

A place to avoid, 2012-08-19
Captain: , Jacksonville Fl (1520)

I would rate it a zero if possible. Gas was ethanol and way overpriced ( 4.99). Dock in very bad condition and the owner even worse. We were later told he may have a drinking issue. Also accepts cash only and very arrogrant about it.

You've gotta be deperate to stop here!, 2012-08-17
Captain: , Powder Springs, GA (214)

Perhaps the worst marina I've ever stopped at. Nearly fell through the fuel dock when loose boards gave way. Tyng up to the dock puts both you and your boat in jeapardy as the entire structure is about to give way. Gas is badly overpriced compared to the other marinas. Owner is arrogant, caustic, and abusive to customers.

Miller's Marina, 2011-08-21
Captain: , Lake in The Hills, Illinois (542)

Stopped here for diesel. The folks that run the place were helpful and friendly. This is the only place that has diesel for a boat over 6' draft between here and the end of the canal going westward.

Old and well worn...but, 2011-03-31
Captain: , Sodus Bay, NY (505)

This is the only way to explain this place.
The guy who runs it is a real nice guy, but his day consists of getting up....popping open a can of beer and sitting there till it's time for dinner.
He lives on the premisis, so after hours is not a problem.
He will do his best to help you, but I would not have any major work done there. His fuel is fresh and about the normal in price.
His father, who owned this place before him, ran a nice business, and if you are in the market for original Chris Craft parts this may be the place for you. When I say original, I mean original....the price tags on many of these parts is what the prices were in the 40's and 50's...because the parts have been there since that time.
