Great weekend 07152017, 2017-07-19

Stayed with 10 other O'Day owners at our annual rOnDAYvous on my 322. Price was OK, everything was just great. Multiple dockhands jump out to help every arrival tie up, wonderful picnic area with about 8-10 tables, and a large area under a tent. Barbeques available for use. Showers/bathrooms a little long in the tooth but just fine. Plenty of restaurants and stores in walking distance. Depth was ok for me at the north end, had maybe 6'+ at low tide. Nothing bad to say. Will be back.

Stayed there 2015 and 2014 what a great place, 2017-01-05

Planning on coming back July 2017 a couple of days Dockmaster was great with anything you would need and his crew where right on

Spent 4 weekends here this past summer, always a good time. Must try the new mexican restaurant one block north!

A wonderful place to stop!, 2016-10-09
Captain: , Avondale, PA (448)

(Visited 9/22/2016) We stopped here again after having had such a good experience two years ago and were happy we did. As usual, Ray was a great help in docking and providing information about the area. The floating docks are in good condition. The marina was not at all crowded on this post-Labor Day week night. The heads, showers and laundry were in decent shape. The town provides wi-fi service that while not strong, was adequate. Ray offered to drive us to the nearest grocery store but we didn't need to reprovision so we declined.

The only disappointment was that the ice cream stand at the end of the pier was not open. The dockmaster said they are normally open through Columbus Day so something must have happened on this one night. My craving for ice cream was assuaged by walking about 3 blocks into downtown Milford where I found a busy frozen yogurt stand.

(9/26/2014) This is a beautiful little facility located just a block or so from downtown Milford with lots of restaurants (some of which give a discount if shown the marina dockage receipt). The town is delightful to walk through. The docks were nearly empty on a late September week night but the staff met us at the dock and helped us tie up in the high aftenoon wind. The receptionist was full of information about the area and was very helpful. The heads and showers are clean, equiped and well maintained. There's a laundramat in the office building. The best feature is that there's an ice cream stand within 100 feet of the office. What more does a cruiser need?

Great town, 2016-06-10

Have stopped at this Marina for over 20 years. This docks are starting to deteriorate and the customer service needs to be upgraded. For a long time there was a gentleman who ran the Marina. He hand picked his young dock hands. They were always enthusiastic. Would get fresh coffee each morning and a newspaper on the deck. No longer the same. Wifi was out and they did not know when It would be fixed. Sorry to see this . Hope they get back on track!

Love this town, 2015-10-03

Stayed at the municipal marina at the top of the harbor. Enjoyed a walk through town, watched a little league baseball game, and visited with friendly local fishermen. Marina staff were extremely helpful and well mannered. Facilities were clean and in good order. Hats off to a well run operation. Will be back.

Great location, 2015-09-20
Captain: , Hingham, MA (1079)

Great place to stay with lots to do. The marina is a municipal marina but the grounds and docks are very well maintained. The facilities are dated but charming. Stayed here after labor day and the marina was still quite full on the weekend. If you paln on staying a number of days (we stayed for five nights - we were visiting family) then speak to Ray about a pro-rated weekly rate.

BEST Municipal Marina on LIS!!!!!!!!, 2015-09-06
Captain: , Glen Cove, NY (281)

Every year MILFORD LANDING gets better! Ray and STAFF really HELP, in all ways, to make your stay a HAPPY EXPERIENCE. Facility is small, limited in numbers of transient accommodations; however, very well fitted out, meticulously maintained and lovingly cared for...ALL THIS AND ICE CREAM and GOOD RESTAURANTS virtually on site!!!!!!

Hidden gem, 2015-05-31

What a great stop. Ray and his crew very welcoming and most helpful. Right downtown for shopping and eateries, lots of choices. Floating docks with easy onshore facilities access. Crew was exceptional, always smiling and eger to help in any way. Look forward to going back.

Great service; friendly staff, 2014-10-01
Captain: , Malletts Bay Vermont (30)

We stopped here on our way from Mystic to NYC. We encountered some issues with our boat that had to be repaired before we could continue and MLM was very helpful and absoulutely fantastic to deal with. They are right next door to Milford Boat Works which was a big plus.

Location Location, 2014-07-23
Captain: , Newport RI (247)

Location is great. Marina staff is VERY helpfull and accomodating!!! The wood floating docks are in very rough condition. Chanel at low tide is 5' 6" depth at most.

This marina is a short walk to the shops and restaurants of Milford. Well maintained floats and powerheads. We safely weathered huricane Irene here, a very sheltered spot.

Friendly staff and ice cream too!, 2012-08-25
Captain: , Chester, CT (60)

Nice facility (with ice cream stand) and a staff that could not be more friendly and helpful. Easy walk to town, charming town green, great stopping place, well worth negotiating the very narrow channel through the harbor.

A great facility, 2012-07-23
Captain: , Neptune Island, NY (76)

Nice concrete floating docks. $3.00 per ft per day plus $10.00 per day for electric. Close walk to town with a few good restaurants. A little pricey but a good stop.

Came into town to get fuel and discovered a boat problem. Town let us stay 2 day at town dock (no services)for free. Many boats in river, but little wake. Nice nature area, good dining. Shopping is far.

excellent area to visit, 2012-05-29
Captain: , Westport,Ma (710)

weather turned on us and into Milford we went. We had not planned to stop here and what a great surprise it was, a wonderful town and this marina is extremely helpful and located right in town. Very easy walk to everything except groceries. We plan to stop here again when we head south in the fall.

Wonderful Marine!, 2012-05-21
Captain: , Putney, VT (40)

Absolute best customer service we have run into %u2013 went out of there way to make us feel at home. Right in the middle of town %u2013 so short walks to restaurants. Will come back again.

Nice stop for the afternoon, 2011-09-25
Captain: , New Haven,ct (20)

Took advantage of a nice fall day and ran over to the landing for a few hours. Since it was late September and not a lot of people around they gave us a great rate to tie up for a few hours. Although they were friendly and helpfull we did have to tie up on our own which was no problem, tried to call them on both 9 and 16 but they never answered.
A nice, clean, well run place and a bunch of different restaurants all within walking distance.

Nice town and marina, 2011-08-04
Captain: , Stony Point, NY (852)

Very nice facility, well run and convenient to restaurants and shops. Laundry, Ice, including blocks. Strong current when it is running out. At low water the mud flats show on the opposite shore.

We went to the River Street Restaurant (about 10 min stroll) that is an excellent Italian cuisine. BYOB, pay with cash only, and be sre to call for a reservation.

A great stop, 2011-07-27
Captain: , Byram, CT (708)

We have stayed here many times (at least 10) and I agree with others comments about the facility and location except those that were megative about the staff. We have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, and the marina is well maintained. Restrooms and laundry are reasably clean. The prices are reasonable too. The only issue we have had is that sometimes the launch ramp and park accross the river is a bit noisy with go-fast boats (being revved) or events.

Milford is a great Stop, 2010-04-23
Captain: , Ipswich, MA (318)

Milford is a great stop for a few days. Lot's of things to do and see. Many excellent restaurants and pubs. You will need a taxi for a trip to the supermarket. This is a City run Marina, BUT it is well run.

You will be on your own here, 2009-09-23
Captain: , Buffalo (1154)

Two teenage dockhands were too busy socializing on the porch steps where they couldn't hear the phone or VHF. Then they acted like it was a big chore to help us to tie up. The next morning I complained to the adult dockmaster, but he wouldn't come out of his office to help us untie either. There is nothing wrong with the facilities that a complete change of staff wouldn't cure.

Love this marina, 2009-09-16
Captain: , Punta Gorda, FL (418)

My wife and I stopped by here on our way up to and from Essex, CT. Nice slips, very helpful staff. The free coffee and newspaper is a very nice feature.
Milford itself is very quaint and has some great eateries. The Milford Camera store is fantastic. You can print photos with ease and the prices are very reasonable.
Shopping for provisions tho is not easy.

Very Nice, 2008-05-26

I have been to Milford Landing twice. The staff is very friendly. The location is great - very close to town. There is a nice park on the other side of the river with tennis courts, playground, etc. My kids love it.

You get a free paper and free coffee.

Good value,

At the very end of the creek, great walking access into town, many food establishments a short walk. Metro North train station and liquor store in walking distance. Marina staff is very friendly, pump out, laundry, showers available nand morning paper delivered to boat.

Town Access, 2007-02-12
Captain: , Stratford, CT (146)

This little marina offers the best access the the town of Milford. There are few ammenities, although the kids love the on-site ice cream shop.

From this location you can easily walk to the Milford Town Green and several very good restaurants. The docks are a bit old and the river is very narrow at low tide due to shoaling. Staff is helpful and friendly.
