Reviews for Miami Yacht Club
Great Access to Miami, 2016-01-28
Captain: , Forked River, NJ (604)

Anchored here a couple of nights using the Yacht clubs dingy dock & Uber to access the city.
Great location, secure well protected anchorage. We would stop again if in the area.

dancing with the wind Ont., 2015-02-14
Captain: , whitby (50)

We anchored here for a week during the boat show, yacht club was good to go ashore, showers, pool. For a fee. Can dingy to Publix . We would stay here again

Great spot for local Miami boaters and transients, 2014-07-16
Captain: , Miami, FL (25)

wonderful youth sailing program, shoreside acess and parking for members and tranisents, good resturant. Host of the Miami Key Largo race each spring.

great place to visit, 2013-03-19
Captain: , Miami Beach (14)

New dinghy dock, friendly members, outstanding food. No dogs.

Great Yacht Club., 2013-03-18
Captain: , Hawaii (35)

Great Yacht Club.
Dinghy dock, showers, good food, very friendly to cruisers,
never asked about club affiliation, $15 temporary membership fee, makes this a great place to anchor.

Good Food & Access, 2011-03-29
Captain: , Annapolis, MD (326)

We spent 9 days here and other than wakes from tour boats it was calm. Could walk the dog at a fenced beach attached to Jungle Island. We have receprocity with Back Creek Y/C in Annapolis so access to the dock and water was free. Dog has to go ashore at the launch ramp south of the Y/C because they are not allowed on Y/C property. A reasonable dink ride to Miami Beach and to Miami. Pay $15 per day in Miami for dingy dockage.
Take the bus from Miami beach (the 150) to Miami International Airport for a few bucks, and for a quarter go to south beach on the local bus from Collins Canal. Great spot! Ask if you can buy shrimp from the guys at the launch ramp on Watson Island.

Adequate ,but not what you may expect as a yacht club, 2010-12-31
Captain: , Jacksonville, Fl (525)

There is a $16 charge to land your dinghy and use the facilities. The dinghy dock is in disrepair and is floating only if no one is standing on it . The rest roooms on the other hand are first class with marbled walls
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at the resturant is very good and reasonably priced. You may eat in the bar which includes tables or on the large covered patio.
Next door is the Parrot Jungle and Gadens.
