Reviews for Meyer's Pier Marina
Great Stop Before Trent Canal, 2016-07-04
Captain: , Smiths Falls (37)

After battling high head winds all day and having a large wave dump into the cockpit, enough was enough. Pulled in here met by 2 friendly helpful staff. Decent food at the bar on site. Would recommend.

Good Stopover, 2016-06-12
Captain: , Houston, Texas (970)

Call ahead and they will pre-assign a slip. Slip id's are plainly marked and easy to read. $1.65 Cad per FOOT (I have yet to find a Canadian marina pricing per meter). Showers have been fixed and are nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Gas was $1.27 Cad per liter. Nice laundry, 2 washers @ $1.25 Cad per load, 2 dryers @ $1.25 per load.

An OK Marina on the way to the Trent Severn

very good over-night docking. tried BQYC numerous times on the radio and got nothing. Glad we found this one on the first try. Gas bar in front as you come in, then staff very helpful with docking. Nice patio bar. Listened to good music in our cockpit (Friday night night life). Life could not be better then this.

ok stop for fuel, 2015-06-24
Captain: , Holland (270)

this is kind of a sterile municipal marina. diesel fuel was $1.289/liter and dockage was $1.62 per foot. free bikes for a 5 min. ride into town, nothing cute or exciting except the Caberet, a local strip club which advertised cheap beer. (that's all I know). the local armory has a free and interesting museum with historical displays from the local military unit.
the restrooms/showers/laundry are at the end of the dock next to a restaurant. the restaurant shares the heads with the marina and as a result the heads /showers are not secure or locked. the public has free access. the 3 shower rooms are clean but only have a button to push for a min or 2 of water at whatever temp it is. I had hot water, almost too hot but I could not adjust it. the docks have a coded access door and a security guard walking around.

If you Like Hot Showers - Don't Come Here, 2014-08-06
Captain: , Cleveland (2083)

Not sure what the issue was but the showers were luke warm at best. Might have well jumped into the lake (temp 72 degrees). There is no way to adjust the temp coming out of the showers.

Otherwise the marina is fine. Nice bike trail along the river is fine but really? I don't need to take cold showers - better to have just taken on on the boat.

Nice location and facilities, 2014-02-19

A nice marina, with laundry and showers. They have loaner bicycles to get into town. The bikes have baskets for shopping.

Friendly Port, 2013-10-16
Captain: , Port Huron (423)

We arrived on a Wednesday in September. They are closed Wednesday's in the off season, though we didn't realize it until we were docked. The had a laundry and nice showers and a friendly bar. What more do you need? We did have to hose the goose poop off our dock, but otherwise a nice secure marina.

Clean, modern marina. Marina bar closes early so is only noisy for a short time. Showers are very strange but clean.

The '10 minute walk' to the Bay View mall along the waterfront trail ended up being 40 minutes. It was good except for the last 5. Check to make sure the LCBO and Food Basics is still there. In 2013 the mall was almost empty of tenants. $8. cab ride back to the marina

Great Marina, 2012-03-03
Captain: , Olcott, NY (2536)

We stopped there for several days and really enjoyed the marina, staff and town.
Good provisioning and anything else you need.

Takes reservations, deep water, good floating docks, internet,
restaurant on dock. Good staff. Marina ready for business. We have stayed here three times in three years, even left our boat here for a week last year.

Excellent Dock Staff, 2011-07-25
Captain: , Mystic, CT (382)

Arrived on a fairly windy day, dock staff was on hand and very helpful and skilled in helping the boat captain maintain control of the boat. New restaurant opened in past 3 weeks, excellent, spot, food and view. Laundry and restrooms were clean. All staff was very friendly and helpful.

Docking Challenge in Higher Winds, 2011-05-11
Captain: , TORONTO (428)

West winds tend to funnel through her and can provide some serious docking entertainment. I saw one fellow fall off his boat on the way in. Nice Marina with good facilities.

Meyer's Point Marina, 2009-03-03
Captain: , Whitby (1653)

Run by the Town of Belleville, service here can be highly variable depending on which summer student you deal with. Docks, power and water are good. Shower and washroom facilities are all good. Prices are reasonable. Fuel prices can be higher than other fuelling facilities on Quinte.

Good clean marina, 2008-09-16
Captain: , Newcastle Ontario (102)

Great overnight spot with a beautiful view of the bridge. Busy marina though so watch for boats entering and leaving. Close to restaurants.
