Reviews for McDonalds Hamburger with docks
Boating friendly!, 2016-03-18

I stopped in for a lunch combo while my wife shopped at Publix.
Signs on dock say one hour time limit.

It sure is nice..., 2016-03-16

to dock your boat and walk a few steps to dine at a McDonalds. It's a wonderful opportunity to reprovision at the next door Publix too.
No hassles at all, people very friendly.

Update 11/27/2015 - McDonalds (FREE WIFI) at Madiera Beach Causeway, 2015-11-27
Captain: , OldHatt (77)

As of 11/27/2015 McDonalds Dock is Open again. It was restricted for a while in an apparent effort to curb some less than stellar behavior from certain boaters. The 1% can ruin it for the rest of us sometimes. The Presumed Riff-Raff is gone and the dock is once again open to cruisers and their dinghies. All is good and life is back to normal so go to McDonalds and Pubix from this excellent location and floating dock and have a great time. But please, spend some money at McDonalds and Publix and be courteous so we won't have to go through this again. Thanks.

This is one of the best McDonalds you will ever visit, NOW WITH FREE WIFI. It is right on the water, it has dockage for smaller boats up to maybe 24' and it is adjacent to a decent anchorage between the dockage and the bridge just to the west. I eat at the McDonalds at least once a week and they have $1.00 double cheeseburgers and $1.00 chicken sandwiches. They also have bottomless coffee and soft drinks. There is a Publix grocery store right next to McDonalds and a waterfront American Legion immediately north of McDonalds on the other side of the dockage. The American Legion has good food and drinks and is open to the public. It also has dockage to use while you are patronizing this place. All this is just north of and east of the bridge to Madiera Beach.

New Management and policy, 2015-11-11

Update: NO SHORE ACCESS! As of 11/10/15 Pinellas Deputies are making arrests for trespassing. The deputy that checked my Id, stated 3 towed dinghies on 11/10/15 and a couple of arrests. This has now progressed beyond Mcdonald's dock. Any business with waterfront property and any Public property now will trespass you in Madiera Beach. There is an active police force instigating compliance with the businesses and residentual property owners. Please treat Madiera beach as an "Aggressivly unfriendly cruiser town" The actions of some of the livaboards south of the bridge has made this happen. The city "Day use dock" at the city building is no longer an option either. The sheriff deputy stated " there are no access points in Madiera Beach anymore. If it is of importance to be here only the City municiple marina can be used at transient slip rental, not as a dinghy dock. My suggestion to other cruisers is to use the facilities in Clearwater or further south.

As of today 5/28/14 Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies will be enforcing the one hour McDonald's customers only rule. The new manager has asked for this. Until fuirther notice I would no longer leave the dinghy here for other excursions in the area. The City Hall dock is currently not available either due to construction and a criminal trespass zone. I would no longer leave the big boat at the dock overnight as you may now be arrested at the discretion of the officers. Todays officer also stated the water belongs to McDonalds also implying you could be charged with theft for taking water. Spending two hours inside on the internet even with purchase puts you in violation of thier dock policy. Spending time here to wait for weather just became hostil.

Great pit stop, 2009-06-10
Captain: , Knoxville, TN (1788)

This is a great place to stop and have a quick McDonalds meal and grab some groceries! The kids and Nana loved it! After a lunch of McD, we walked over to Publix (next door) to stock our provisions. This is the closest our boat has been to a Publix! There is also a Hallmark store, Beals, and Walgreens in the shopping center. It is a simple floating metal pier with a McDonalds flag on it. Boats up to at least 50 feet could tie up to it, but mostly smaller dinghies seem to. We had no problem with our 46' cruiser. We were even able to walk the dog (he wanted to eat in McD too!).

Great little stop. Publix is right behind the McDonalds and you can walk across to the beach.

If you stop, buy something at McDonalds.

I pulled in my 34' MT. The depth showed 5'. Walked across bridge to West Marine Express. Used Publix and Walgreens Liquor Store.
