Reviews for Maxwell Boat Yard
Very friendly and accommodating, 2013-10-27
Captain: , Earth (232)

As the other reviews stated, limited amount of moorings but they will accommodate you if at all possible. Shopping facilities are just a short walk down the road and the people are extremely friendly. The bakery next to the package store has great speciality breads and you can grab a fresh bread, often still warm out of the oven.

Great Spot, 2013-04-04
Captain: , Noank, CT (67)

They don't advertise for transients but if you call or stop by they will accommodate if there is room.

They have a crane for haul out and is probably the most reasonably priced place to get a short haul for repairs. Do it yourself though. No staff to speak of.

A do it yourselfer's paradise, 2011-02-04
Captain: , New London CT (121)

The yard has a limited supply of moorings and slips but the ambiance for those lucky enough to be a part of it is very warm. New England charm of a certain quality not seen too frequently any more. Its really too small to recommend for utility, but if you want to sound local, of the true congniscienti, drop the name now and then.
