Reviews for Marquis Harbor Marina
Prop Buster, 2016-03-07
Captain: , Moline (20)

Clean marina and good food at the Captains Table but pricey. Please be VERY careful of the entrance and stay to the middle. Got gas last year and while pulling out, 15ft from the docks we ran into some sholing and twisted our props. Had to pull the boat out and get the props fixed. $700 dollars. Fought with the city because they are responsible to keep the entrance open and they wouldn't pay a dime. FYI we have a houseboat that draws 2.25 feet. BEWARE!!!

Secure Harbor Dockage, 2014-09-16
Captain: , Gulf Breeze, Fl (6909)

Just basic dockage in a secure harbor with minimal services. Adequate bathrooms simple but not much. That's it. more expensive then others in the area harbor is shallow. 5' true depth at entrance(say in middle shollower at fuel dock and 5' to 8' in slips whenhere 09-16-14 pool was up 2'.

A Disappointment, 2014-08-25
Captain: , St Petersburg, FL (277)

We expected more from this corporation-owned marina. They have a lot of seasonal slip holders, but don't offer much to transient boaters. A relatively expensive $1.25/foot gets you rough docks with broken cleats, difficulty getting electric to work, barely adequate toilet/shower, and no wifi. On the plus side, the attendant was friendly, the adjacent Captain's Table restaurant was good (live music outside on a Sunday evening), and the harbor was off channel and well-protected. We had some trouble with the phone number in the Quimby's Guide--apparently it connects with the corporate office in Dubuque, and the woman I spoke with when trying to make a reservation didn't have a clue that I was calling about the Moline area Marina, even though I clearly stated "Marquis Harbor." We'll try elsewhere when we come back through the area.
