Reviews for Mariner Cay Marina
Nice location, 2017-05-31
Captain: , Melbourne, Fl (50)

Friendly staff. Beautiful location. Tight Quarters. Excellent public golf course close by (uber for $6)

Wonderful stay, 2017-03-01
Captain: , Bayfield, WI (108)

We were at Mariner Cay from Feb. 15 to Feb. 22 and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Nick and Keith were great and were a wealth of info about the "Pocket" and the area in general. Boating in the area is interesting and offers varied destinations such as restaurant dockage, sight seeing and beach time. We will be back soon.

A Gem in Stuart, Florida, 2017-02-17
Captain: , Fort Myers (10)

If you are looking for an easy dockage, with exceptional hospitality, check out the Mariner Cay in Manatee Pocket. Thanks Nick, for making it so enjoyable. We will be back, for sure.

cheap fuel, 2017-01-22
Captain: , Bay Shore, NY (550)

Got gas at Mariner Cay yesterday; gasoline price was 35 cents a gallon cheaper than the other marinas in the pocket. That is SIGNIFICANT! Diesel has similar savings. If you're in Stuart....get fuel here.

Go see Nick, he's the best, 2016-12-14
Captain: , Kemah (73)

Called ahead to get a slip here in mid December. Nick had space and was very helpful. Marina rates are the best in the area. Marina has fixed docks but the tide range is small and the docks are in great condition so that was no problem. Good and inexpensive laundry facilities, pool, grills, showers and fuel dock.
Call Nick and see hat he can do for you. We would definitely come back when in the area.

Perfect Customer Service with all Amenities!, 2016-11-11
Captain: , Ocean City NJ (10)

Stayed at Mariner Cay 2 nights and loved everything about it. Arrived 11/8/16, late morning and greeted by Nick the dock master who was so welcoming and helpful. We were visiting friends who live here and totally enjoyed our stay that we decided to stay an extra night. Beautiful surroundings and pool. Showers and restrooms were clean and short walk from dock. We will definitely return!!! Thank you Nick for an enjoyable visit!!

Great Place!, 2016-07-06
Captain: , St. Augustine (10)

Stopped here departing and returning from the Bahamas. Beautiful place, great facilities, nothing lacking, and most important, Nick is the pleasantest and most helpful human in the known universe. Don't miss it!

Beware of Fuel price - Tax NOT included, 2016-06-18
Captain: , Bonita Springs, FL (413)

Pump says "All taxes included" but thhey are not. They are extra. WHen you add the taxes, this in an expensive place to buy fuel. The Boat US discount was only two cents per gallon. This is not where I buy fuel next time. The sign also said "free ice with 40 gal," but I was charged for the ice also.

Great little spot, 2016-05-16
Captain: , Boothbay Harbor, Maine (310)

This was my first time visiting here and a pleasant surprise. Decided to stay an extra day. This is a private club that offers transient slips when the owners are not usng them. The face dock is also avaiable at times for larger boats (over 50'). The pool and grounds are well kept and the dockmasters are most helpful. The bathrooms, laundry and pool are all in good condition.

Great Service, 2015-12-24
Captain: , Palm City, FL (10)

Had to find a marina after the anchorage in the pocket was full. Everyone was most helpful and accommodating. We will return...

Great Place to stop, 2015-12-18
Captain: , Ft Lauderdale, FL (146)

Spent an unplanned month here on the outside dock. Larry and Tony and Nick running the place couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The showers and laundry facilities are fine and there is a great pool and BBQ. The best part is the Manatee Pocket area is a boaters paradise. If you kayak or paddleboard this is your spot. It's a nice anchorage too. Make sure you eat at King Neptune if you only have one night!
Will definitely stop her again.

Excellent stopover, 2015-08-07
Captain: , Olcott, NY (2536)

We found this marina by accident and decided to do our crew change here.
Very helpful staff and lovely grounds.
Reasonable pricing.
Wakes can be a problem if you are on the face dock.
The only problem we have with the place is it's access.
One needs a car or a bike to shop, as it is a long way out of the gated community.
Would be nice if marina had a car handly for boaters to use as so many other marinas do.

Very helpful dockmaster and liveaboards, 2015-05-26
Captain: , McDonough, Georgia (104)

Geno, the dockmaster, waited @1 1/2 hours, after closing, to get us into a slip, and liveaboards from several boats came out and helped us get tied and settled in. Nice people.
Really nice marina-pool, cable, wifi, pump out at slip, etc.

friendly staff, 2014-10-03
Captain: , Cape Coral Fl (12354)

Stopped buy for gas liked it so much I stayed fro half a day the staff here is vewry friendly and willing to go ouit of the way to make shure you get what you need

A nice place to stay, 2014-08-11
Captain: , philadelphia (440)

Getting in can be a little hairy, the current gets pretty strong all through the pocket. But once you're in, the dockmaster's helpful and the other boaters are friendly. The grounds are really nice, but it's a development, so you can't walk to anything. More of a place to relax for a day or two before moving on.

Great location, 2014-01-18
Captain: , Southport, NC (716)

We stayed here 4 days replacing batteries and getting ready for a trip South. We had a car which made it good going through the gated community. The dockmasters are really helpful nice as well as all the livaboards. Its the high season so prices are high and unaffordable to us for a longer stay. The town of Salerno is within walking distance and several good boat yards and restaurants. Lots of charter boats leaving every morning but waking wasnt a problem.

Almost a 5 star rating, 2013-08-19
Captain: , Acworth, GA (225)

Great fuel price, free pump-out, and free bag of ice greeted us upon arrival. We then quickly went to the pool and enjoyed the pool deck and the pool. Had enough shade in addition to the umbrellas to make it tolerable in August. There are two sets of showers. The ones adjacent to the pool are cold water only, and the ones next to the laundry are hot and cold water. This is where they fell short of 5 stars. Neither sets of showers have heating OR air conditioning. At least the men's shower had a working ceiling fan, but the women's shower fan was not working. There was a heat lamp in the dressing area outside the shower but, did not need it in August. We are accustomed to air conditioning in the bathhouses at marinas and was surprised that this one did not have Air conditioning. We only stayed one night and did not leave the property, so I have nothing to add in this area. The Wi Fi signal was usable and relatively fast when we made a connection, but we were nearly in front of the office on the face dock. We would stay here again, but not when heating or air conditioning was needed in the showers or laundry rooms.

Good Manatee Pocket location, 2013-05-11
Captain: , Punta Gorda, Fl (960)

Easy docking-we had a side tie, but got rocking with the boat traffic going by. Docking in the Manatee pocket there is less current to deal with. Fuel docking ok. Only pumpout in the Pocket and has the best fuel prices of any along here. Nice pool/laundry/showers on a shade tree canopy property.Free ice. Dog friendly. Biked to downtown Stuart and other Pocket restaurants. Not walking distance. Lovely quiet marina in a gated community. Would return here.

great marina, 2013-01-25
Captain: , Kingston ON (80)

We have a slip here for a month. Quiet, clean, friendly, well run facility. Docks are are in good condition, staff are great. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Good access to restaurants, would be a good walk for groceries, Ok if you have a bike. A few live-aboards here with cars, could probably take you for provisions. Lots of boat yards around if you need work done.

Great marina., 2012-04-29
Captain: , Lloyd harbor ny (125)

Wintered here last season with Maverick our Outer Reef 63. Enjoyed the gated community and near buy towns of Port Salerno and Stuart(old Florida) so much we now are home owners there. Mariner Cay staff and neighbors make you feel right at home.

Wonderful Marina, 2011-07-17
Captain: , stuart (21)

Walmart is about a mile away by bike. Friendly helpful people. great amenities. low rates.

Quiet Spot to Relax, 2010-12-08
Captain: , Ocean City, MD (10)

Part of a gated community, Mariners Cay has a nice pool, laundry room, and shower facilities. Cheapest gas around and they give a free bag of ice with a 40 gal purchase. Need a rental car to go anyplace, and Enterprise is 1 mile away with their delivery service. Also, no problems bringing in workers for maintenance.

super quiet spot, 2010-05-06
Captain: , Wilmington Deleware (330)

We had the privilage of staying at this marina for 2 months while attending (by dingy) The Chapman School. This marina is wonderful, quiet and very friendly. The 2 pools were an added bonus and the 3 gentelmen that work the docks made our day each and every morning. There is nothing convenient about the location, kind of like anchoring out with a pool attatched. They do not have a coutesy car and the nearest grocery store is a mile and a half away, but 3 great restaurants are only a mile by bike or a short dingy ride. Everyone in the small development was very friendly. This would be rated 5 if there was a car or transportaion.

48 slips courteous employees fuel competively priced. Swimming pool super clean mens and woemens facilities two of each . Two grills beautiful live oaks for picnic benches outdoors . rate 10 out of 10 .

Fixed docks, 2008-10-10
Captain: , Key Largo (5457)

Not walkable to much at all. Upper part of manatee pocket, but it is semi protected, however fixed docks in a tidal area.
$2 a foot plus electric in summer of 08 for a fixed dock ,with nothing much there.

You can walk or dingy about a mile south to resurants and bars.

Any Port in a Storm, 2007-11-30
Captain: , Ft. Myers (406)

Dirty showers and regardless of what the guide book says the grocery store is 5 miles away. Harbormaster will rent his car for $20 an hour. Up side is the pizza delivery. Brickhouse Pizzeria will deliver to the boat. Excellent!!!
