Reviews for Mariner's Harbor Marina
This place is now closed, May 28, 2016, 2016-05-29

We stopped here before but as of today the place is closed and there were no docks. Heard there there is a new owner who plans to open the restaurant next year.

Not so good., 2015-07-24
Captain: , Patterson NY (50)

We stopped here for dinner on July 4th. to watch fireworks from our boat which was docked here. The restaurant was average in atmosphere and food. The docks are old and lacking several tie up cleats. The restaurant and outdoor patio was grungy. What it does have is a good location under/next to the walkway over the hudson and the Mid Hudson Bridge which does look nice at night.

Timely Stop, 2014-11-14
Captain: , Ludington MI (70)

Good stop when moving from Waterford to NYC, about /12 way. Mid Hudson Bridge just south of dock and restaurant. Docks low and shakey... cleats vary... but was free and held 20 ton boat fine. Late in season, but Kevin the chef was welcoming and recommended scallops which were great! Good beer selection... walked dog in future park being built on North side. Food was excellent. No charge for dock. Large steel wall being build on north side of property.

Free Dock , 2014-10-26
Captain: , Westerville (70)

True, dock was free. Not in the best shape and covered with bird droppings, but free is free. Good restaurant at a reasonable price. No other facilities. Train noise all night.

A Great Restaurant, 2013-06-10
Captain: , Britt, Ontario (691)

The free dock is o.k. Hey, it is free - five stars for the seafood in the restaurant. Be prepared for lots of train traffic very close by.

Access to Walkway over the Hudson, 2012-08-25
Captain: , Chester, CT (60)

It's true that the dock is old and in need of repair, but when dockage costs nothing, one can hardly complain. We were able to walk to the access to the Walkway (of COURSE it's uphill; the bridge is 212 feet above the river!) The best surprise was the restaurant. It appeared to be a run-of-the-mill, patio on the water place where you had to buy a dinner in order to qualify for the free dockage. Our dinner was EXTRAORDINARY! The seared scallops were sweet and the size of sliders; the risotto could compete anywhere. You should go for the food even if you don't stay overnight.

simple food, 2012-07-18
Captain: , Marlboro Yacht Club, Marlboro NY (515)

we used to visit for a bite to eat, lately its hard to had a simple good meal. Shame since there is so much potential for this place. Too many young employees that seem "clueless and pre-occupied"

Easy to get in and out, docks are old

Resturant and good Resting Spot, 2010-10-18
Captain: , North Myrtle Beach, SC (3210)

We stayed here last year, and found it to be a good resting stop for teh night, cheaper than most, quite, and the resturant/bar was fun. Rickity docks, but safe. Wakes from boats, but not bad. Can take almost any size transient boat, beut beware that thedocks are really not designed for heavy loads from winds. We will stay here again.
