Reviews for Marina de Chandler
Basic but adequate, 2016-10-05

September. It seems that they are trying to make it work but the docks were shabby and need updating. The season was winding down but they took good care of us for our one night stay.

Nice place, 2015-08-02

Visiting with a 38 feet sailboat 5.5 feet draft

Wonderful Group of People, 2014-07-26
Captain: , Corpus Christi, TX (702)

This marina is not geared for any large (48ft) boats, but they made space for us and the entire group of members present for the weekend pitched in the help and to welcome us. Very good restaurant.

Great staff, but facility not up to par., 2013-06-24
Captain: , Toronto, ON (1749)

Very bad silting in the harbour.
We came in needing fuel and a pumpout. The service dock is inaccesible (maybe 2 feet at low tide, less than 5 otherwise).
The fuel pump and pumpout aren't even hooked up. There are very few usable slips. Annie, the Port Captain, was wonderful and helpful when we arrived and even drove me to the gas station to get diesel in jerry cans. Pity about the facility, I can't see it lasting much longer without some major commitment of resources.

Very useful stop, 2013-04-22
Captain: , Oka, Quebec (260)

Small marina, very good staff. We had a good music show outside the ClubHouse. Many grocery stores nearby but not a lot of restaurant. We did'nt like the restaurant at the marina, the food was ok but a little pricey and the service was so-so ( It's was full but... ).

Small marina with all service. Anna, marina worker when we arrived was very helpful and spoke great english. We needed a dentist in a hurry and at about 2hrs out reached Anna on the radio (CH68) who at that point called the local dentist to arrange an emergency appointment. Small town with what you need close by. Fuel and pumpout available. We are over 40 ft and tied up on the deaded south west dock but thankfully had no swell from the SW.

Ok marina, decent restaurant, not much to do, 2010-03-02
Captain: , Sarasota (1427)

We draw 4'3" and were very close to the bottom. Floating docks. There is a dollar store in town.

OK marina with limited protection, 2008-08-17
Captain: , Newport, RI (10275)

We pulled into Chandler marina after looking at the other possible alternatives which basically involved tieing up to fixed walls or fish boats. Chandler has limited space (maybe 4 slips), so make a reservation. We had one, but ended up on the fuel dock. You don't want to be side-tied at the end of the main dock in SW winds as it has limited protection. Dockage is $1/ft. Sue says the showers need cleaning and repairs. The staff is very nice. Not much to see/do here as it's pretty much a factory town and the factory (paper mill) closed down.
