Reviews for Marina del Este
swelly marina, 2015-09-22
Captain: , Sydney (170)

It is a good (distance wise) stop for a night when sailing from Malaga to Almerimar. We were there when there was about two foot swell from the East and the boats there were moving a lot. Even the smallest wash from passing boats caused the boats to put lots of strain on the mooring lines.
We paid EU35.xx for one day - 12.3m boat, without water and electricity.

Beutifull setting. But over priced and very uncomfortable with swell from East

Very Nice, but Pricey Marina Between Marbella and Almeria, 2013-01-25
Captain: , Green Cove Springs, FL (322)

This is a very isolated marina on the Andalucia coast. No reason for those cruising in the area to stop except to ride out a gale or (as I did in 2006) stop to sort out equipment problems (autopilot). The berth fees here are on the level of Marbella, but there is no town to visit on foot. Although it is expensive the service was excellent. However I would have been better off to have pushed on to Almerimar as I had to rent a car and drive to that marina to fix my AP.
