Reviews for Marina de Portneuf
Good protection, 2016-10-22
Captain: , Catawba Island, Ohio (152)

Came in late at night and locals helped us to navigate the entrance. It is tricky in the dark. Nice facilities.

Pleasant stop, 2016-10-05

Good protection and good food, nice docks too.

When rules means no rules!!!, 2016-07-23
Captain: , Vaudreuil-sur-le-lac (145)

They display rules at the counter and gives us a receipt with all their rules on the back. The problem, they are not enforcing them to their members, Very loud music and obviously people on party mode in the afternoon. We complained and a staff went to the party boat and then came to see us politely. Saying that they were doing sound system test, and they are allowed to party up to 2300 hours.

This is BS, Iève never seen that kind of behavior in any Yacht Club or marina. If you like other party noises, this is your place. Otherwise avoid that marina at all cost.

Had a great meal at restaurant!
Came in at low tide after coming through Richelieu Rapids , east bound. Saw no less than 7.5' on approach and 9.5' at dock/ fuel dock.
Seanna's draft is 6'. Pleasant dock master still working on English but was no problem. Would suggest a stop over for dockage and a great meal!
Did not go into town or use any facilities so no comment .
Did I mention the meal was great!

nice place to stop before or after Richlieu Rapids, 2014-07-10

Friendly staff. Clean. Room on gas dock for a Krogen 48. Depth in harbor 2 hrs after low was 9.5 ft. Excellent restaurant, Littoral

Nice Spot to Stop and Rest, 2013-06-13
Captain: , Whitby (370)

Stayed here three nights starting on 2013-06-10. Dockage fee $1.35 per foot (plus tax).
Good facilities including electricity, water, showers, and laundry. Very clean and well kept.
Be alert during approach as river current is strong until in basin.
Depth ok for six foot draft even at low tide but check chart for channel in.
No serious grocery shopping. Small convenience store only with limited stock.
Pizzeria was very good and reasonably priced.
Staff very friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Good stop before Richelieu Rapids, 2013-04-22
Captain: , Oka, Quebec (260)

A good stop near the Richelieu Rapids. The marina is very well equipped and always seems to have place for the transients. You can borrow a bike to go to town. Not a lot of services in town, almost no grocery but a few small restaurants.

Nice marina - 14 Jul 2011, 2011-10-19
Captain: , Solomons, MD (1915)

Easy access to the marina from the St Lawrence. Well protected by breakwater. We tied up above the fuel dock when the power in the new slips (first ones on your right as you enter) was not working. Few slips can accommodate a 44' boat. Easy walk into town. Stopped at the "Pizzeria Hotel Paquet"; good pizza., very little English spoken.

Scenic Stop, 2011-07-26
Captain: , Sodus Point, NY (678)

Very well protected marina. Large docks with plenty of room to maneuver. Free WiFi and the best I have had in Canada. The breakwall is the scenic overlook for most of the town. Great views with cliffs that turn the color of the sunset.

Large and eazy access, but check availability
