Reviews for Marina da Vila
Ohh thats a bit tight (but lovely)., 2015-07-24

If you come here you must ensure they have space before you arrive. There is only space for a couple of visiting boats.

Even so it's well worth taking the trouble to get here. It's a real change from P.Delgada.

When we were here we saw a couple of local raceboats laying alongside the wall outside of the marina, so this is an option if there is no space.

The town is charming and there is a really big supermarket to provision from. There is also good walking in the hills behind the town.

Wifi is available from the Marina bar and with a wifi booster you can get this on your boat.

If you are going to take in the offlying island then DONT take your dinghy. Only non motorised vessells are allowed in the lagoon. The ferry leaves from here and is E5 a person.
All in all a great stop.
