Ranges can be hard to see due to yacht masts blocking the view. Nevertheless, the channel is well buoyed. There is a 3 knot current running at the breakwater with the "Marina" sign on it. Go past the "Marina" sign and then head back up the river to stem the current and line up the entrance buoys.

Reviews for Marina Trois-Rivieres
Good marina, facilities a bit dated, 2016-07-21
Captain: , Burlington, VT (80)

stopped here heading upstream. Easy approach but no dock assist at all. No smell (WSW) wind but 24hr steady roar of the pulp

Marina Trois-Rivieres, 2016-07-14
Captain: , Wickford, RI (1637)

A very good marina to stop at on way to/from Quebec City.
For reservations or calling on VHF, the marina staff quickly found someone who spoke excellent English.
Docks were good, some smell from the paper mill, but that greatly depends on the wind direction.
Friendly marina residents! Nice walk around the park. We did not need supplies, so can't tell about that.
Entry channel was quite straight forward, they even have range lights for use.

Good Stop with Helpful Staff, 2014-07-06
Captain: , Corpus Christi, TX (702)

They had lost our reservation...may be a language issue...but were accomodating and friendly. Docks were fine, 50A & 30A electric included. Entry a little tricky, and buoys marking shoal missing at present, but no problem getting docked with their good radio instructions. Good wi-fi. Heads, showers a bit dated but fine. Paper mill is, well, a paper mill; you can't always choose your neighbors...not a big deal.

most expensive with the worst service between Valleyfield and Qubec city, 2014-07-04
Captain: , Valleyfield (103)

One importante thing to note is the staff is really friendly and they do their best to help. However the docks are in very bad shape, some of them are not anchored; The showers and toilets are dirty and or not operational. It's the more expensive than Longueil marina which is beautifuly located in front Montreal old port.

Good stopover but paper mill doesn't help, 2013-10-19
Captain: , Montreal (251)

Got to Trois Rivieries quicker than planned so only stopped in for gas and to walk the dog, instead of the planned overnight stay. Marina staff were very friendly and helpful, but the smell from the paper mill meant leaving was a little too welcome.

Great staff, friendly boaters, great location, 2013-07-29
Captain: , Dunedin, FL (6484)

Marina is accross the river from paper mill, which is noisy and with the wrong wind condition may smell.
But everything else about T.R. makes up for it. Helpful office staff, and dock hand helped us in. Docks clearly marked making it easy to find your slip. Quebec boaters were fun to talk with, try to stay on a Wednesday night for $5.00 chicken box dinner on the terrace. Lots of space to walk your dog. Town is 15-20 minute bike ride.
Stay any 3 nights in a season, get the 4th night free. This worked really well when we went downriver to Quebec, stopped at T.R. both directions.

A very good stop, 2013-04-22
Captain: , Oka, Quebec (260)

Excellent staff, good service.
The marina is busy on week-ends but it's very quiet by night. There's no grocery on site. The snack-bar was so-so. The marina is in a park so don't forget to ask for your "pass" if you go to town or else you will have to pay to come in. The town of Trois-Riviere is not near but if you have time, take a taxi and go to Trois-Rivire Downtown.

Good spot if you are running the whole length of the St Lawrence, 2013-01-31
Captain: , Gloucester, MA (806)

Good spot and they sell the detailed current books for the downstream part of the river which are very helpful. Brush up on your french because they speak very little english.

BEWARE: The dock water is NOT potable. I almost filled my tanks but thankfully decided to ask first.

Good overnight stop, 2011-10-19
Captain: , Solomons, MD (1915)

Easy access to marina from St Lawrence. Floating docks, good wifi signal. Security gates to docks.

Good Stopover When Coming From Montreal To Quebec, 2011-08-02
Captain: , Oriental, NC (1148)

Trois Riviere can easily be made from Montreal in 8-9 hrs at a boat speed of 6 kts. There is a favorable current running at 2-3 kts. The marina is easy to access with a privately buoyed channel and range markers. There is complete protection inside and adequate water depth to 8 ft or more. Call for depths as they can change. Transportation can be arranged for shopping in town. There is a small restaurant at the marina that serves sandwiches, beer and hard liquor. All in all, a good place to stay. Also, they have the tidal info for transiting downriver to Quebec.

Pleasant spot, 2010-07-11
Captain: , Baltimore, MD (1057)

Calm. Next to paper mill, some sound but not bad. Smell was going downwind (prevailing). Gated docks. Nice stopover from Montreal to Quebec City. Not much close to marina though.
