Ramon Cervantes is an excellent captain and charter operator. He can be found at the Ramp. Sharky Tow can rescue you.

Excellent family operated marina, 2014-11-29
Captain: , Coronado, CA (465)

I've known this family for many years and now it has been operated and developed continuously through generations. Eva, the Dockmaster is also currently serving as the President of the Marina Association for the entire country of Mexico. They continue to aptly guide guests through paperwork and government regulations in order to avoid conflicts and inconvenience. One of my favorite places with many of my favorite people anywhere.

Nice getaway, 2013-02-11

We enjoyed using Marina San Carlos for the launch & retreival of our 1 week cruise of the Sea of Cortez. The facility is nice & clean. The people are curtious & helpful, and the location is beautiful and perfectly located.

Summer in the Sea, 2012-11-30
Captain: , London (639)

Used San Carlos marina as our base for the summer, the staff are friendly and have good english. Its possible to walk into town and there is a new store (Santa Fe) very near the marina with good provisions

A nice place to spend time., 2012-05-23
Captain: , Evergreen, Co (597)

Spent 6 months at the marina in 2011-12 and enjoyed it very much. The only real downside was the lack of hot water in the showers sometimes.

Nicely maintained marina, 2011-06-27
Captain: , Newport, RI (10275)

After spending weeks at anchor as the heat was beginning to build, we pulled into Marina San Carlos and found a well maintained marina with good docks and facilities. In the immediate area of the marina you'll find a marine supply store, lots of shops, restaurants and bars.

One of our favorite places was Club de Capitanes where they had good food and ICE cold beer at very reasonable prices. Mike, who runs it, is a wealth of knowledge.

We also ate at Ruby's Wine Bar and were put off by the fact that they allow smoking in the bar. In all of our travels in Mexico, this is the first indoor bar/restaurant that had that. We had pizza, which was just OK.

We also ate at the el Embarcadero at the Hotel Marinaterra and had an OK meal. The salad had dirt and a small bug on it. The rest of the meal was just OK for the money. Wouldn't rush back.
