Reviews for Marina Puerto America
Extra star for location., 2017-06-21
Captain: , London (709)

Cadiz is a wonderful city, we spent a week here, there is lots to see and do. The walk into town takes about 30 minutes (10 on a bike). The marina is a lttle run down but very convenient for Cadiz and has electric, water and good showers. We paid E30 a night for a 14.8 metre Motor Boat

Run Down but handy for Cadiz, 2017-05-26
Captain: , Ipswitch (252)

Used to be better, (2006) now run down, security gates broken, showers in poor condition, but hot if a sunny day.
Exposed spot but no problem with wakes on the inner part of the marina, but very tricky to bearth in high wonds, which as exposed is a problem.

Warning they wedged us in a bearth way too small for us, we are 12m, and they put us in a berth for 8m boats, so we hung out which was a proiblem in the high cross winds. No idea why we were there as there were plenty of larger berths free, but as no one spoke english did not find out why.

Closest stop to Cadiz town so gave it an extra star.

A well protected, clean marina with lot of space, 2016-08-11
Captain: , Nynashamn (240)

After reading the ratings below, I went directly to the north basin. No problems with wash, very quiet. Clean toilets and showers, kind and helpful staff. The marina surroundings are acceptable, but not beautiful, so I reduce the rating with one star. Cadiz is well worth staying for several days, I stayed 5 days. 27 €/day for a 11 m sailboat.

Run down municipal owned, 2016-07-14

A perfectly serviceable marina with the exception of the ferry wakes. They are stealth wakes, as said before, you can't see them but you will know they are there.

This marina is out in the continer harbour. There is nothing charming att all. 20 minutes walk in to Old Town.

Stopover in Cadiz, 2012-09-14
Captain: , Fremantle, West Australia (1448)

Concur with first reviewer. Wakes near the entrance and you can't even see what caused them! The Guardia Civil ship runs 24/7 but you seem to get used to it. A little out of town but easy enough in there. Wifi at the first cafe you come to along the port fence opposite the Captainierie. Pleasant enough and Cadiz is certainly worth a visit - we ended up staying 5 days.

Clean, well run, 2012-07-26
Captain: , Shorewood WI (244)

A clean and well run marina. The south basin sufferes from wakes in the commercial harbor. The North basin is a better bet. Small resturant on site, clean showers and bathroom, laundry
