Reviews for Marina La Coruna
Nice Central Marina, 2015-10-02

Nice marina. Some good walks nearby. Easy walk to the town, which is a lovely place and well worth a visit. Facilities are pretty good.

Marina Coruna seems like its for larger boats with bigger fees!, 2014-07-17

We came here with our narrow 12 MeterCatamaran (5 Meter Beam). Insisted on 150% charge ... even with a discount came to €35. Swell was bad and showers & toilets lock up at 10pm! plus shower was cold on mine. Marina 1/4 mile West was found next day and it was cheaper w/ 5 days for price of four! moved to Desenea de Coruna (spelling?) and like it much better!

Large municipal marina - soul less and remote, 2013-01-02
Captain: , Kinsale, Cork, Ireland (257)

I spent 1 week here in June 2012, in good weather. I arrived at 2am, and was charged for the night of arrival, not a good start after 3 days at sea. Lots of swell, and wake from passing traffic, made for a noisy berth and we sheltered in the NW corner well inside the marina (on advice from friendly fellow traveller). Good shore facilities, and showers. Its a bit out of town.
Care is required on entry at night as there are several floating breakwaters (for swell) whose entry lights are hard to find with bright shore lighting beyond. Once inside look for a berth as close to the Two Towers of MRCC Coruna and Huge Pier as you can get, thats the most sheltered.

Marina A Coruna , 2012-08-04

Nice marina with friendly staff. Discounts if you stay longer. 4 day one day free. / day 2 days free. WIFI free and worked well.

Nice marina, 2012-06-07
Captain: , glasgow (300)

As the previous reviewer mentioned, it is prone to swell and wakes from fast moving craft, price was reasonable , facilities good, wifi included a short walk into town

Marina La Coruna, 2012-01-12
Captain: , Cape Town (887)

Nice new facilities, very friendly English speaking staff. Harbour is prone to swell.
