Reviews for Marina At Southwinds
Great repair yard, 2017-07-06
Captain: , Kelso, Wa. (884)

Shawn, you will not find a more accomodating marina manager on the ICW. And if you need to haul your boat for repairs, Carmine the man to talk to. Two great service experiences in one stop.
Had running gear issues and needed a little down time. These people took care of both isues with class. Can't thank them enough.
Stop in, see if you don't come out smiling.

Nice and relaxing stopover, 2017-06-01
Captain: , Corpus Christi (110)

Nice stop on the way North from Atlantic City. Clean facilities and very courteous Harbor Master. Exposed to passing traffic and all boats seem to respect the no wake zone. Good restaurant on site and others a short walk. Walmart is 2.9 miles and an easy bike ride. Pump out is self-serve at the fuel dock. I strongly recommend this marina

What a lucky find!, 2017-05-31
Captain: , Melbourne FL (100)

We pulled into the marina in a rainstorm and were met by two very able dockhands to assist us. Docking was painless and we were greeted by Shawn, the Dockmaster, who not only gave us plenty of local knowledge, but also loaned us his personal vehicle to go pick up groceries. We had a very enjoyable dinner at the onsite restaurant, Lattitudes. What a pleasant stop after several cool, windy, and rainy days. I highly recommend it.

Great marina with awesome beach bar, 2015-12-20
Captain: , Forked river nj (330)

very clean and safe marina. If you are looking for a very social marina with on property bar this is the place to be. Once of the lowest priced marinas on the river! Great owner!

Great visit, 2015-10-10

Fuel dock open, Dockmaster Shawn and owner Steve took real good care of our needs, stayed three days, only charged us for two

Nice marina & restaurant, 2012-08-28
Captain: , Barnegat Bay (30)

We%u2019ve had a slip here for two years and just signed up for a third. It%u2019s a mix of power and sail and people in the marina are friendly. The overall vibe is mellow. The bathrooms and laundry room are clean and the new owner has been doing upgrades each year since taking over. In here you%u2019re well protected from storms, but it%u2019s only a short hop out to the bay or to Tice%u2019s Shoal.

It%u2019s nice having the restaurant and beach bar right at the dock. The beach bar is great when temps are mild, head to the upstairs deck bar to catch the breeze when it%u2019s in the 90%u2019s and you can still hear the band. It%u2019s an easy walk to the Captain%u2019s Inn if you want a change of pace.

I%u2019ve also had good experiences with their service department. We really enjoy it here.

Nice location, 2011-07-04
Captain: , Beach haven NJ (510)

This marina is located in a protected condominium community right on Forked River. The bathrooms are clean and there is a restaurant and poplular bar on the premises as well as other restaurants within walking distance. New owners are making improvements to the marina. There is a travel lift and service facility.

Good stop for food and music, 2011-03-06
Captain: , Waretown, NJ (354)

Slips are very limited if your docking for the restaurant but dockhands will try their best to fit you in. Food is okay but the bands more than make up for that. Lots of traffic on Forked River and provides entertainment as well watching some of the captain skills being displayed.

Latitudes Restaurant, 2010-10-19
Captain: , Brant Beach, NJ (30)

Nice restaurant but we were not impressed with the food. Make reservations at +1 609 242-2648. Nice part is that there are many slips available for a lunch stopover.

Nice place, 2010-07-02

We bought diesel and docked to dine. No problem, no charge for the slip.

New owners!, 2010-06-01
Captain: , Tinton Falls, NJ (11)

Stopped by Memorial Day 2010. I have been taking friends and family there for the past 7 years, and knew that the place was slipping from what was once the best dock and dine experience on the Bay. I had also heard that there was another change in ownership this spring, so I was curious as to what we might find. What a surprise! The new owners have done a fantastic job, moving the resturant to the upper levels, and leaving the first floor just for banquets. They even renamed the resturant "Latitudes". The food and the view were excellent. They had a band playing in their upper tiki bar area, where we spent about 2 hours soaking it all in. We can't wait to go back.
