Reviews for Mandarin Holiday Marina
Property in disrepair, 2015-05-14
Captain: , myrtle beach, sc (40)

Entry is dicey ! Channel is shallow and indiscriminately littered with crab pots. The docks are in disrepair and the rest room facilities would be better placed outside. Several derelict boats, many live aboards, make docking an adventure. The marina seems not to monitor VHS. When contacted by phone and told of our distress, we were told there was "plenty of water, just come on".

Old, Funky, but Secure, 2012-12-14
Captain: , St. Augustine, FL (4015)

We planned to meet friends at Clark's Fish Camp, but a 2 mile dinghy ride on a cold and windy night moved us to find a marina where our friends could pick us up. Mandarin Holdiay Marina was the best option. Old, fixed wooden docks with narrow slips, but in reasonable repair for age. Many older, poorly or not maintained boats populate docks. Friendly, helpful staff and dock hand met us on arrival. Contact them by phone rather than VHF. Next to 4 lane bridge, so some road traffic noise. Well protected - there were white caps on the St. Johns and narry a ripple at our slip. Our stay was satisfactory, the low rating due to condition and lack of facilities.

They stand be their work. Their fuel prices are the best on the river.

Not for deep draft baots, 2010-06-12

This was a nail biter %u2013 No marked channel getting in. Mostly mud, but you will be in it. Some areas under 4 ft. near the center of the bay. Marina does not answer radio. Call them on the cell phone. Fuel dock is way back at the end of a narrow fairway. They%u2019re nice enough people, but gave me no help or instruction on the best way in and out. Our draft is 5 ft. I would never go in there again.

Ok overnite stop. Easy fueling for power deep draw sail should take note of the low tides. Transients may or may not be available but anchoring is abundent.

There are no showers, pump out is available.

There is a small restaurant on the property.
