Reviews for Manatee Cove Marina, MWR
Great Stop, 2016-06-06
Captain: , Beverly, MA (1130)

Military/DOD ID Required. One of my favorite stops doing the Loop. Great community, helpful and friendly. Good social activities every day. Base facilities close by, but I never had to walk as the locals were more than willing to drive me. I will be back.

Best Kept Secret on the Central Florida ICW, 2016-04-11
Captain: , Biloxi MS (100)

True, it's a little bit out of the way, but the price, amenities and the social scene can't be beat. Many boaters come in for a few days and stay for a few months. It's that good!

Commissary/BX an easy walk from the marina, breakfast and lunch at the Glf Course Clubhouse next door, wash & dry your clotes for $1 each load, great restrooms and showers and they are cleaned daily. Something going on at the Tiki Bar almost every night

No tides, no currents, no wakes - As restful a place as you'll ever park your boat

Great Marina, 2015-06-15
Captain: , Naples, FL (682)

This is marina is a well kept secret and worth the transit up Banana River. Aptly named Manatee Cove, the marina is home to several manatees. This marina has a vibrant membership and live-aboard community with social events at the Tiki Hut on most nights. Everyone is friendly and most welcoming of transit boaters. Hertz at Melbourne, Fl will pick-up for car rental.

good place to stay, 2015-03-01

Easy in and out with no real tide or current. Close to commissary to provision. Very reasonable to stay or leave boat.

Channel Dredged, 2015-01-07
Captain: , Cocoa FL (400)

The enterence channel has been dredged as of 12/14. The shoal from the north at cruiser's beach has been cut back and the lighted range is now usable. We've been home-ported here several months now and love the comradarie, the staff, the close proximitity to the golf course and commissary, not to mention Friday nights at the Tiki Bar.

Quiet, friendly, and fun, 2013-07-02
Captain: , WELAKA (40)

We stayed a couple of nights and really enjoyed the hospitality of this little marina. The facilities are very well kept and clean with first rate management. The showers, laundry, and bathrooms can be a bit of a walk, depending on where you are in the marina. The clubhouse does have restrooms however and is pretty close to the transient dock. The Tiki Bar is a guaranteed rolicking good place to be for a sundowner drink.

Great Military Stop, 2011-12-07
Captain: , jackson, TN (884)

Nice facility with inexpensive transient docks. Exchange, commissary and medical facility 1/2 mile walk. Tiki bar and lots of club activities. Adjacent to golf course and clubhouse with bar and restaurant.

Excellent......don't anticipate help with lines when docking, 2011-12-07
Captain: , Edenton, NC (887)

Great place, very convenient to BX, commissary. One note though, anticipate not having help with your lines when docking.

Another gem for retired military folks. Close to commissary and exchange, inexpensive, available. A bit skinny on the approach, butthe lowest we saw was 7.4'

Manatee Cove Marina, 2009-09-08

Pros: Nice facility, inexpensive slips, well kept common areas, great clubhouse. Variety of free/inexpensive club sponsored activities.
Cons: Need military affiliation to use. Limited amount of DIY maintenance allowed. No haul out facilities. No on site maintenance. No diesel.
