Reviews for Malcolm Island Lions Harbour Authority
Wonderful marina, 2016-08-12
Captain: , Portland, OR (1223)

We enjoyed it so much, we stayed an extra night (the Bakery helped with that decision a bit though).

Well kept marina, reasonable rates. Loaner bicycles at the office to use to get into town. Great bakery in town, burger shack at the marina, and co-op store in town as well. Plus, it seems the fuel prices are perhaps the lowest in the area! (Co-op Fuel truck brings fuel to pier)

Note on Fuel pricing: A fellow boater purchased 300l of fuel on Aug 12, 2016 for the price of $0.926 per L, including taxes. For some reason, Active Captain will not let me edit the Fuel price, but know this: FUEL PRICES HERE SEEM TO BE THE LOWEST AROUND, ABOUT $0.10 per L LESS THEN OTHER PLACES!!!!

A Different Experience, 2014-09-09
Captain: , Olalla WA (412)

We enjoyed the night here as one of very few recreational boaters among extremely friendly commercial fishing boats. Laundry expensive but good, and bathrooms fine. 1.5 mile walk into town to see small restaurants, shops, museum and friendly people; all nice enough but nothing special. Inexpensive. Bikes available to ride into town, for a donation.

Canada Day Race (sailboats!), 2014-01-23
Captain: , Maple Valley, Wa (10)

We just happened to arrive July 1st, 2013 and were quickly signed up for the race! It is lots of fun! Lots of locals racing, parade.... Lots of fun!

Not much there..., 2013-01-05
Captain: , Seattle (690)

A decent-sized, well protected marina a bit down the road from the town of Sointula. There is a little burger stand at the marina, but not much else. The town is a bit of a hike. We had some great luck fishing for pink salmon in early August of 2012 between here and Port McNeil. They were jumping everywhere and we were able to catch two about 24", I'd guess about 5-6 lbs. Cleaned immeadiately, they were a great meal.

Moorage among the Fishing boats!, 2010-12-24
Captain: , Sequim, WA (676)

You're among the fishing boats and locals here. Interesting town to wander through. A few shops, nothing too special. Interesting history.
