Reviews for Lyme Regis
Lyme Regis - well worth a visit, 2012-12-04
Captain: , Port Solent (10)

During the summer months there is a floating pontoon outside the harbour with a low tide depth of 1.6 metres. It is great unless the wind has an easterly component (in which case it gets somewhat 'bouncy'). There are also several visitors buoys. The Harbour Master is very helpful and will supply a key to the sailing club for showers etc. Lovely town with plenty of good eating places

Lovely Lyme, 2012-06-14
Captain: , Poole (288)

Lyme Regis is a lovely town, and the Cobb is well worth a visit. But by boat, best in a gentle Northerly. There are some visitors buoys outside the harbour wall. The harbour itself is jam-packed with locals, little space for a visitor. There is a slipway for launching small craft, but the approaches into Lyme are not easy for trailers.
