Painting and repairs are first rate, and attitude, demeanor and organization are superb. All jobs done in timely manner with streamlized flow.

Very Nice Facility, 2011-08-12
Captain: , Ipswich, MA (318)

This is a full service boat BUILDER, who builds high end yachts to order. Fine craftsmanship and excellent people, we went there for a medical emergency. They have everything you could ever need, clean bathrooms, water, electricity. No Fuel. The can repair any system, nothing excluded. Their facility is immense.

BUT, as an alternative to Rockland, does not seem correct to me. There is no town like Rockland to shop, eat or museums. There is a small restaurant at the Town dock nearby and a convience store about 1/2 mile away. The town is 1 mile or so away, with a few places to eat, but no supermarket. It is a narrow muddy river, especially at the top end and the other capt was correct, lots of submerged pots, from experience. If you arrange a rental car from here, Rockland/Rockport is close by.

Great alternative to Rockland, 2010-09-19
Captain: , Boca Raton FL (274)

3 miles to Rockland. We were tested coming up the river at high tide. Many lobster pots are set with the buoys 2'-3' below the surface. Only sight change of color was our only clue. The lines are tight so there is no chance for the boat to help push the close ones to the side. When coming down the river at mid tide it was lobster pot business as usual. Fun little restrauant waterside.
