Reviews for Long Point Marina
Solid services, nice people, 2013-03-24

I visited this marina March 23 to investigate seasonal slips. The fixed docks are older, but in pretty good shape. Pat was very friendly and accomodating with the information. This marina is not a resort marina, and that is why I only give three stars--there is no clubhouse, restaurant or pool, but for folks who are not looking for those features, they would likely be very happy here. One less than desireable item that caused me to decide not to sign a contract (they have very competitive pricies) is the fact I enjoy grilling with my gas grill on my boat. They do not permit it. While other facilities have wooden docks yet allow grilling, they told me this was the reason they don't allow it. As my boat would have to go at the far end of the dock, I wasn't happy about the thought of having to walk so far to grill a hot dog or hamburger or steaks or chops (etc.). For me, it was not reasonable, but I was treated very well by the folks there. Pat was also kind enough to give me information about her marina neighbors too, which was helpful.

These guys are the BEST, 2010-12-13

From the little job to the complete overhaul, this family run marina has what it takes to do the job right and for a fair price.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND LONG POINT MARINA, 2007-09-28

I took my boat to LONG POINT MARINA for repairs. They did a fantastic job at a VERY fair price. (HAUL OUT, SCRUB, SAND & PAINT BOTTOM, CUTLAS BEARINGS, ALIGN MOTOR), and i was back in the water in 2 days! ...I highly recommend LONG POINT MARINA ! ! !
