Reviews for Lockview Marina
Not fancy, but a good launching point., 2015-06-26
Captain: , Lake Norman, NC (191)

Lockview is a small marina with a boat ramp and a travel lift. They specialize in transporting larger boats all over the country. They have water, 30A electric, showers/ rest rooms and sell ethanol free gas. This is not a marina that is enticing to typical transients. It is not walking distance to any amenities such as restaurants, shops, or attractions. But by water, it is convenient to the Seneca Cayuga Canal that connects to Seneca Lake and to the Erie Canal. We used it to launch our 27%u2019 trailered cruiser and store our truck/trailer combo for a 2 week Erie Canal cruise, and it served us well.

The proprietors, Allison and Nick, live on site, and we felt that our truck & trailer were secure. They could not have been more personable, helpful, accommodating and quick with good advice.
