Very Good Service, 2016-06-17
Captain: , Groton, CT (126)

We left our truck and trailer here when we started our Triangle Loop cruise. Very nice place and they will do what ever it takes to help you.

Very nice setting, 2014-07-23

We left our boat here for 4 nights while we traveled home for a wedding. Linda and Bill were most accommodating and Larry helped a friend of of ours with a generator problem.

Great Place to Leave the Boat, 2014-07-22
Captain: , Rochester, NY (69)

We had to leave our boat for five days. Lock 1 was the only place we could find in the area that would take a reservation in advance. I developed a problem with my generator shortly before our stay. Larry was able to get the parts and have it fixed when I returned. Lovely spot. I would have given it five stars but the guest dock is in need of repairs.

Captain: , Kenlake Marina (52)

leaving Champlain lock2 our starboard altenator started screaming and we had to shut down that engine. We pulled in to Mechanicville city dock. at the recommendation of Fred (Tug44) we called Larry at Lock1 marina. Larry drove to Mechanicville picked up our alternator, took it to Albany to a shop he new to be reliable and ask them to expedite. the bearing had allowed the armature to hit the stator and that really wiped things out. Major rebuild. Reguardless Larry delivered it back to us (like new)in less than 24 hrs. We could not have ask for better service..

People were very nice at this marina going out of their way to help us. From what I hear they are new management. Will certainly stop on our way back south.

Captain: , West shore Marlboro NY (825)

as mentioned by another visitor the new owners took over in early 2013 they are doing their best and did everything they could to make us at home .. even took us to Hannafords as nearby resturant is closed on the weekends and monday tuesday,
bring extra water hose and elec cable .. you may have to run 30-50 ft to get to elec and water, they have bbq grills, laundry and showers .. stop here so these folks can make a go of it

Very Friendly Marina, 2013-07-12
Captain: , Monticello, IN (110)

Stayed at Lock One Marina on our way down the Hudson early July. The marina is under new management, and the new owners did everything they could to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Nice transient stop and encountered several pleasant seasonal boaters, which made the stop even better.

Great marina to call home, 2012-04-03
Captain: , Half Moon, N.Y. (120)

Located just past the first lock on Champlain Canal. Beautiful marina, spotless showers and bathrooms. Close to restaurant. Nice place to stay if you visit the Saratoga horse track in the summer. "Friday nites on the Hudson" shouldn't be missed.
