Reviews for Little Palm Island Resort
FANATSY ISLAND, 2016-09-15
Captain: , Hudson, wi (1099)

EXPENSIVE BUT CLOSEST TO FANATSY ISLAND IVE EVER SEEN. STAFF WAS VERY ACCOMODATING AND FRIENDLY. WE PAID FOR OVERNIGHT AND ALL THE EXTRAS THOUGH. TOOK A PERSONAL DIVE CHARTER OUT DURING THE DAY AND THE REEF DIVING WAS AMAZING.

Fabulous $90 lunch stop, 2016-01-21
Captain: , Gibson Island, Maryland (140)

We called ahead and made a lunch reservation for today (january 21). We were told that we could pull up to their dock, which is right off the channel. Dock appears to be new. Depth was at least 9'. Fabulous lunch. Beautiful setting, sitting on a covered porch overlooking the water. My husband put on a collared shirt for the occasion. Loved the gift shop too. Expensive but worth it!

Okay Resort, 2015-06-07

So minus the fact that everything there is way overpriced I am just going to write a review about the docks and "marina." I was docked on the southside of the island where the boats under 50ft dock. I spend the night abord and those docks are extremely exposed. Very shallow water as well. 3-4 ft. Also the wood docks look like they are about to fall apart and many pilings are bent. Would not bring my Viking back there anytime soon. Would have expected better docks when everything is so nice at the other areas on the island.

Expensive because this place is awesome, 2014-10-30

With only 30 rooms and only 5 acres, you can understand why they wish to maintain exclusivity. A boater stopping here should be doing so very intentionally. This is not just a transient stop. $600 a day is worth it as a splurge to be able to drink Gumby Slumbers and float in the pool.

$600 per night!, 2014-01-26
Captain: , Rochester, NY (50)

Called 2 weeks in advance for a one night stay. We are a 39' power boat and they said their rate was $600.

Hard to believe anyplace is worth $15/foot - I would not recommend this place.

To the marina staff - if you really want visitors, consider being in line with other area marinas. If you do not want transient, then simply state we do not provide transient slips. Your out of line pricing is why the poor rating.

Skip this place, 2013-05-23

If only the people at this resort were as polished as the facilities. On 4/29/13 we anchored out and went ashore in search of ice. We were greated by indifference, if not outright contempt, by the staff. Evidently our pedigree did not meet their standard. We thank the anonymous captain of the Hinckley, who sent the resort boat with ice, proving again we take care of our own.

Pricey, but it doesn't get any better, 2011-02-02
Captain: , Longboat Key, FL (955)

Little Plam Island is a first class place (and very expensive) but so worth it. If you stay on the Harbor View dock, be sure and watch depths carefully. Very skinny water. Also, expect some wave action as well -- lots of boats seem to ignore the proximity of the dock to the channel. Fabulous restaurant, wonderful sunets, delightful spa.

Heaven on earth..................the best spot in all of florida. well worth the price.

Little Palm - Fabulous, 2007-02-11
Captain: , Ft. Lauderdale (264)

This is the best food and atmosphere in the Keys, BAR NONE! Do not miss it! But, VERY expensive food, hotel and dockage. You can anchor in good holding just about anywhere North and NE of the dock on the West side of the island. Call for reservations. They don't like surprises, but usually stopping by for lunch and a stroll around the great grounds and cabanas is possible without a huge dent in your wallet. Wonderful gift shop. Get the poem, Slept On an Island. Inexpensive and a great reminder of why we're out there.
This is an island with no boat service facilities. If you can't get there by boat(driving down the Keys), give them a call and they will pick you up in a beautifully restored Chris Craft or Elko commuter style boat from the 40's-50's, and have a great lunch!
