Reviews for Lido Marina Village
Hard Times For Lido Village, 2010-06-26
Captain: , annapolis (183)

The marina seems stable and full, but Lido Village itself (home to the annual Newport Boat Show) was hit hard by the economy in 2009 and 2010. What was once a vibrant center with shops and restaurants is now largely vacant. Lido Book Store, a nice small shop and local staple, remains. A small fleet of large charter party boats has made Lido home in recent years. Lido offers a convenient location, close to beaches and the rest of Newport's large boating community. But the village is not what it once was.
