Reviews for Liberty Yacht Club
Would stay again, 2012-05-29
Captain: , Kettle Cove (30)

We chose this marina because of the access to NYC via ferry service. Ferries only run on weekdays. Ample sized slips. We took the light rail to the path train to nyc.

Excellent new facilities and no swell, 2011-04-30
Captain: , Portsmouth, UK (70)

We were so pleased with this marina, it's situated in Morris canel just off the Hudson just after the Statue of Liberty. Floating pontoons, secure pontoons and there was no swell...also the marina has a new complex which includes new showers and toilet, which are excellent, also shop and seafood restaurant, with a fantastic offer on Thursdays nights for 20 dollars.
Ferry access every 30 mins weekdays to the World Trade Centre where you can catch a subway or bus to anywhere in Manhatten. The only downside to the marina is access at the weekends is limited as no ferries run. We paid 1.50 per foot uptill 13th May so we will be back as good value for the Hudson.

Great location, wonderful view, 2011-01-29
Captain: , Stratford, CT (250)

This marina is located within the boundaries of Liberty State Park, up the Morris Canal Basin. The "clubhouse" is in an old lightship; there's a cool bar there. Decent sized slips. There's a walkway to cross over to the Paulus Hook/Downtown section of Jersey City, and light rail to the PATH trains to NY, and trains from Hoboken to just about everywhere. You'll need to take a shuttle to the light rail station. Not known for their repair service, but a great place to layover.
