Reviews for Legendary Marine - Ft. Walton
Not what we expected, 2017-06-21

Legendary Marine is more boat dealership than marina. They do have secure docks but no amenities at all... no showers, no restrooms (they did say we could use their office restroom during business hours). Docking was difficult due to wind and current and the pilings in the slip we were put in were pretty loose. The lady we dealt with in the office was nice and tried to be helpful.

helped a transient in need, 2015-02-03

Our buddy boat needed
help navigating under the brooks bridge as their air draft was 48ft+ they called this Marina for advice, the Marina went above and beyond to ensure their passage was safe. Very very impressed with the service, will use them in the future.

I received 12 months of free marina storage with the purchase of my new boat through Legendary Marine. I only used 9 of the 12 free months, because they were not cleaning my boat, left my motor's water line disconnected several times, and broke my trailer. They failed to launch my boat a few times too, wasting drive time and live bait to go out for overnight trips.

Helpful staff but a difficult dock to tie to., 2014-02-20

The current is very stong. Even with floating docks, we needed two extra hands to successfully tie up. Would not have been able to do it ourselves. The marina sits under the bridge, which is very busy and noisy (day and night).

Ft Walton is a difficult stop on the ICW. I started calling Saturday morning and only Legendary Marina answered the phone. I left messages at 3 other marinas and never got one return call. Legendary charged me $2.50 per foot. Dock was covered with bird poop which the dock hand said he would hose off but never did.
I'll pass up Legenday and Ft Walton on any future trip and stop in Destin.

overpriced, 2013-05-24
Captain: , Buffalo (1154)

This is the best marina in town, which says more of a lack of anyplace decent, than the quality of this marina. They do have good floating docks, and the washrooms are modern and clean. Incredibly, there is no shower in the ladies side. Ladies have to use the mens.

But many of the power pedistals were U/S, and we were unable to connect to shore power, and we never did get their wifi to work. The usual transient price of $3 per foot is twice the going rate, allthough they charged us $2 because of the lack of electricity. Next time we will anchor out.

Decent Little Place, 2009-12-13

The staff is experienced and willing to help. This is a small facility on a very busy section of the ICW.
